The story may be more interesting than the picture. As a 17 year old I found myself on a Wurlitzer at a fairground in Edinburgh with one other passenger - a lovely girl. I'm not good with things that whirl around. After the first ride she asked if I'd like to go again.The testosterone in me forbade me to get off. Many rides later and feeling very queasy I did get off - and didn't get the girl. The music playing was Ticket to Ride

This is just the first one I pulled off the card. I am sure there are better ones. I had a huge scare. This was probably one of my easiest newborns to date. I was so excited to get home and open them up.
When I got home I stuck the card in my card reader, no images, said card was empty. So, I stuck the card back in my camera, no images.
Thank GOD for answered prayer.
I discovered an image recovery program and was able to save ALL of the images from the session. I totally am praising GOD for this! I did panic for a few moments....well maybe more than that....

So inspired by [https://www.flickr.com/photos/tifaeris]'s photos and conversation, I have put the camera in manual mode again! I need to get out and practice, practice, practice. With sporadic camera use, I had become a little lazy! Now, back to looking at flash diffusion :)

Recently when I was having a very difficult time functioning due to intense effects of trauma, I glanced into the next room and saw this view. [The picture in the frame is from the day my husband and I were married.] I was so fascinated and inspired by what I saw that somehow I managed to stand up, get my camera and tried to take a few pictures of this scene. Though it certainly didn’t erase my struggles I was thankful noticing this beautiful moment did help me to be able to stand up, move and make it through these incredibly challenging moments. A sign of continued growth, ongoing healing and moving forward.
