Happy Tuesday! and Texture Tuesday's Challenge at that.

Sorry for a few days absence, but I've been snuggling with mom, cuz she has been under the weather. But what a nice surprise to find out on my return that last Tuesday's Texture photo made Explore. Thanks everybody!

Today's challenge is a picture with words. I combined Kim Klassen's beautiful textures, "Yesteryear" and her latest one, "Subtly Yours." Thanks Kim!

Now, I'm so curious to find out what's inside the Juicy box! But, my pawents say I'll have to wait and see until June 20th to open it!

Have a great day everybody!

Love,

ViVi

Finnally added the last wall so...

I put it on hinges so the wall can be opened and its more easy to take pictures inside (see pic in comments).

I'm sorry for the bad light but my new working studio has really bad light and I have to find a solution to fix the problem ;)

but smiling on the inside!

The Byzantine gold glowed hot when I got inside, a divine signal to me that God was mad because I brought my camera inside. However, I reasoned with God, the sign read "No Cameras" in a Cyrillic lettering, a lettering style I do not recognize since the Jesuits trained me in the Romance languages and not these Slavic uncials.

Besides, I was inside Saint Michael's Cathedral, and I was holding a camera, and, as the saying goes, when in Rome, shoot interiors of churches in Rome , and when in Kiev, break Eastern Orthodox Ecumenical Councils.

While God was busy figuring out my flawless reasoning, I spotted a cloaked HeiroMonk in is post-Matins chanting, moving in a pattern indecipherable by my camera, thus the ghostly visage in this seeming partial transcendence.

Inside an abandoned mansion that is slowly being demolished. This place is 32,000 square feet! It has 17 bathroom & was originally listed for sale at $45,000,000 but sold for $35,000,000. It is being demolished to make way for 30 condos that range in price from $3,595,000 to $6,995,000. As of today there is still 15 condos available so if you have several million dollars to spare one could be yours!

Every trip I go on, I try and get some good architectural interior shots, sometimes with people, sometimes without, but usually in some sort of religious building (even though I'm a devout athiest…) Still, you can't beat a good landscape most of the time.

Uspenski Cathedral (Uspenskin katedraali / Успенский собор) is one of the few big landmarks that Helsinki has and is an Eastern Orthodox church built in a typical Russian style. When we arrived here, the inside was almost pitch black, but we asked the man in charge and he allowed us to use tripods.

Luckily near the end of our shoot, all the lights came on and there was a brilliant blue hour appearing through the windows. As you might have guessed from the title, there is a secret door in this cathedral, so see if you can find it. (Viewing it large will help).

You can see the behind the scenes from one of our other Helsinki photoshoots if you're interested in that: vimeo.com/channels/tfp#32455080.

This is also on 500px and for purchase on RedBubble.

I came across this interesting church in the village of Wangford which lies 3 miles inland from the coastal resort of Southwold. Standing on a spot where Christians have worshipped for over 800 years the church is a mixture of styles having, like so many churches, been altered and restored over the years. The present parish church is part of the Priory Church of a Cluniac Monastery founded in 1160 AD. Nothing of the original Norman church remains the last signs having been lost when the new tower and chancel were built in the 1860's under a major Victorian restoration project.

More details about the church can be found on the History Of Wangford Church page of the www.wangford.net/church/history.php.

First off, this is not my design. Full credit for this goes to FunnyStuffs. I believe he has the best Hulkbuster out there. I'll leave a link to it at the bottom.

He did not give me instructions for this. I made this by simply looking at the photos of it he has posted on his stream. The arms and legs can be built very easily based on the photos FunnyStuffs has posted. However, the chest and back were a pain in the ass to try and figure out, as there were no very clear shots of the insides of these parts.

This is not a 100% copy of Funnystuffs. Some things were changed due to the lack of parts or because I couldn't figure out how he did it, but I'm pretty sure this is almost exactly how he built his.

Features of this model include full and smooth articulation (Something my old version has trouble with), can seat a full minifigure sitting down, opening front chest, anda few other things. For all the photos you would ever need to see of this thing including scale, please check out FunnyStuffs original model here: www.flickr.com/photos/64767766@N07/16322524543/in/faves-9...

Keep in mind there are more photos of it than just the one I linked.

What do you think? Do you agree with me that FunnyStuffs has the best Hulkbuster out there?

maybe a print!

Huge amount of domes and semidomes- very ornamental and difficult to catch...

It is 53X51m. The major dome is 23.5m. The light is coming from 250 windows which were initially decorated by the stained glass. Lower part (not seen here) is decorated by Izhnik tiles. They used the reserve of the tiles for it fomr many years. I will put a separate photo to show them. As predominant decoration colour is blue, the mosque is called Blue.

It is active mosque, though huge amount of tourists due to its beauty.
