Die Rindenspringspinne ist eine Spinnenart aus der Familie der Springspinnen. Sie besiedelt vor allem sonnige Baumstämme, Pfosten oder Holzstapel.

Eine Wespe ist jedes Insekt der schmal taillierten Unterordnung Apocrita der Ordnung Hymenoptera, das weder eine Biene noch eine Ameise ist; Dies schließt die breit taillierten Blattwespen aus, die etwas wie Wespen aussehen, aber in einer separaten Unterordnung sind.
Größte einheimische Springspinne. Das Männchen erreicht eine Größe von 6 bis 8 Millimeter, das Weibchen 8 bis 11 Millimeter. Der Vorderleib ist graubraun bis dunkelbraun und hellgrau behaart. Der Hinterleib trägt eine Tarnkennzeichnung mit einem breiten hellbraunem Band. Auf beiden Seiten sind etwas dunklere große bräunliche Flecken. Die Beine sind hell und dunkel geringelt.

Die Gemeine oder Feuer-Goldwespe wird 4 – 13 mm groß und hat einen schlanken Körperbau. Kopf und Brust der Art sind leuchtend grünblau und können einen metallischen, goldenen Schimmer aufweisen. Der Hinterleib ist kupferrot oder rot metallisch glänzend.

Mit Ausnahme Skandinaviens kommt diese Art in ganz Europa vor und erstreckt sich ostwärts bis nach Sibirien. Das Weibchen bohrt sich in die sich entwickelnden Samenkapseln und legt ein Ei in mehrere Samen, sodass gegen Ende der Saison der größte Teil des Inhalts verzehrt ist. Diese Löcher werden schnell repariert, da die Pflanze eine klebrige Flüssigkeit absondert, die sie versiegelt, sodass sich die Larven sicher darin entwickeln können.

Monarch butterfly. Danaus plexippus
An adult butterfly emerges after about two weeks as a chrysalid, and hangs upside down until its wings are dry. Fluids are pumped into the wings, and they expand and stiffen. The monarch expands and retracts its wings, and once conditions allow, it then flies and feeds on a variety of nectar plants. During the breeding season adults reach sexual maturity in four or five days, however, the migrating generation does not reach maturity until overwintering is complete. Die schlanke Art erreicht eine Körperlänge von 10 bis 13 Millimeter. Ihr schwarzer Hinterleib trägt schmale und gerade verlaufende, gelbe Binden. Das Hinterschildchen ist schwarz. Die Männchen kann man anhand ihrer zu Spiralen eingerollten Fühlerspitzen erkennen.
