Muy posiblemente chapulín de zancas rojas/ Most likely red-legged grasshopper (Melanoplus femurrubrum).o tal vez/or perhaps chapulin migratorio menor/migratory grasshopper (Melanoplus sanguinipes).
Chapulín (del náhuatl chapōlin, de chapā[nia] ‘rebotar’, y ōlli ‘hule’, ‘insecto que brinca como pelota de hule’)/ chapulín (About this sound tʃapu'lin (help·info)), are grasshoppers. The term is specific to Mexico and Central America, and derives from the Nahuatl word chapolin [t͡ʃaˈpolin] (singular) or chapolimeh [t͡ʃapoˈlimeʔ] (plural).

Each insect folded from a triangle cutted out from a 15 cm square of paper, previously painted with acrylics in one side.
Simple is beautiful! And when it's simple in the folding process and in the design, when you get the essence of the represented figure even with a very few lines, for me it's perfection. That's what I aim when I try to design something. I'd love to have designed this one.
