There's nothing more appealing to the eye than a Canada Goose Gosling eyeing you up. They are most inquisitive at this age and some will stop at nothing to check you out such as this one here was doing.
Inquisitive Stare was taken at The Hunter Nature Center which is located in the Bronx, New York, near the Long Island Sound, that is connected to the Atlantic Ocean. On the day that I photographed this beautiful animal, I woke up early that morning and went out to make fog pictures. As I was wakling alone on the trail, up from no where was this lovely deer, which I found to be fascinating; Both of us were surprised to see each other. We stared at each and soon as I made my picture, he just walk away. He gave me an excellent pose and a beautiful picture. I love it very much and hope you like it too.
Here's a shot of a red fox taken about three years ago at the Howell Nature Center, in Howell, Michigan. The Center operates a rehabilitation hospital for injured and orphaned animals, with a goal of release back to the wild when possible.

I found this Chaffinch in a nature area full of pine trees and it kept following me around mostly getting too close for me to even get a photo with my 300mm, this photo was a moment later when I managed to distance myself just enough to framing it properly : )
This Robin hopped followed me all around and seemed very interested in my camera more than anything, Taking whilst walking around the beautifully named Netherfield Lagoons which is a local RSPB Nature Reserve . Two miles from my home..
Driving home the other day I noticed three deer so inquisitive, watching a couple and a golden retriever walking by. Everybody was staring at everybody, so I stopped and took a picture of the deer.
Thank goodness these little cuties paused to look at us occasionally - I'd hiked up my ISO to crazy levels and was still struggling to achieve a decent shutter speed despite the late afternoon sunshine.
Another from Brownsea Island on Sunday.
Leo watched his brother Charlie who was climbing onto Tofu's outdoor scratchpost. For once he didn't even look grumpy as he was distracted and didn't pay attention to the camera. :)
An adult North Island Robin (Toutouwai) also known as a bush robin, Zealandia, New Zealand. The adult has a distinctive pale white chest and belly and a white patch above the bill. Toutouwai are one of New Zealand's most fearless and curious birds and this goes a long way to explain how the introduction or rats and stoats decimated their numbers (they are not seen in large areas of the North Island aside from predator-free sanctuaries such as Zealandia). This bird landed within a few metres of me as I was sizing up forest floor mushrooms and allowed a close-up portrait. Earlier another bird had landed on my leg as I was prone on the ground framing fungi. They are particularly interested in you scuffing up the ground litter for them so they can swoop in and feast on small worms and insects.
This is a bronze statue of a boy leapfrogging a post in the Duke of York’s Square, Kings Road, London. The statue is by Allister Bowtell.
I uploaded another street image showing the full statue on the 17th October 2022 should you be interested.
This inquisitive girl could not resist touching the statue.
