Like so many before and after this tourist photo, I stood with one foot in the northern hemisphere and the other in the south. If I had been flushed down a toilet at this very spot I'm not certain which way I would have spun.
Al igual que muchos antes y después de esta foto turística, me quedé con un pie en el hemisferio norte y la otra en el sur. Si me hubieran tirado por el inodoro en este mismo lugar yo no estoy seguro en qué dirección habría hecho girar.
The shot was taken from a Yashica ELECTRO 35CC and the 35 year old Kodak 35mm slide scanned by an HP Scanjet G4050 and restored with multiple Photoshop operations.

Soy Ariel Cruz. Como algunos sabrán, el día 27 de Febrero de 2010, a las 03:34 de la madrugada, Chile vivió uno de los terremotos más grandes de su historia. Según Estados Unidos, alcanzó los 8,8 grados Richter.
En mi caso, lo viví desde mi habitación en el segundo piso. Toda nuestra familia está bien, nuestra casa se sacudió en un vaivén sostenido e intenso durante algo más de dos minutos. Cayeron cuadros, se quebraron los vidrios, cayeron los buses de papel, miles de papeles que ni sabía que existían estaban en el suelo, muebles pesadísimos se corrieron, hasta mi cama se corrió unos centímetros y el inodoro (water close) se despegó del suelo. Posteriormente -teníamos las ventanas cerradas- un aire frío inundó la casa. En medio del terremoto se apagaron todas las luces en casi todo el país. Toda mi familia y yo estamos bien, tengo suministro de agua y luz.
Gracias por su preocupación, aquellas personas residentes en Chile informen sobre su situación por favor. Estamos preocupados.

I'm Ariel Cruz. As some may know, the 27th of February 2010, at 03:34 am, Chile experienced one of the largest earthquakes in its history. According to the United States reached 8.8 on the Richter scale.
In my case, I experienced from my room on the second floor. Our whole family is well, our house shook in a sustained and intense swing for just over two minutes. Dropped tables, broke glass, paper buses fell, thousands of papers that neither knew existed were on the floor, heavy furniture ran until my bed was moved a few inches and the toilet (water close) left the ground . Subsequently, we had the windows rolled up-a cold wind filled the house. Amid the earthquake all the lights in most of the country. All my family and I are right, I have water and light now.
Thanks for your concern, those who live in Chile report on their situation please. We are worried.

Eu sou Ariel Cruz. Como alguns devem saber, a 27 de fevereiro de 2010, às 03h34, o Chile experimentou um dos maiores terremotos de sua história. De acordo com os Estados Unidos atingiu 8,8 graus na escala Richter.
No meu caso, eu experimentei do meu quarto no segundo andar. Nossa família toda está bem, a nossa casa balançou num balanço constante e intensa de pouco mais de dois minutos. Dropped mesas, quebrou o vidro, o papel caiu ônibus, milhares de documentos que nem sabia que existia estava no chão, móveis muito pesados correu, correu até minha cama a poucos centímetros e wc (perto da água) afastou-se piso. Posteriormente, tivemos as janelas fechadas, um vento frio encheu a casa. Em meio ao terremoto de todas as luzes da maior parte do país. Toda a minha família e eu estamos bem, não tenho água e luz.
Obrigado pelo seu interesse, aqueles que vivem no relatório do Chile sobre a sua situação, por favor. Estamos preocupados.

MASSIVE ATTACK - 100th WINDOW (Special Edition)
This is one custom album packaging of a 4-series piece entitled Extended Play, which is intended as a personal project by !nodoro™. It is a tribute to some of my favorite musicians/artists around the globe - a collection of new interpretations, perspectives and formats to their classic covers; hence the word “play". It is by all means an experimentation without boundaries to the concept. Music and Art are two things that complement each other enormously; they go hand-in-hand and in my opinion, are of absolute equal importance. Thus, I consider an album cover highly reflective of the record, or a critical introduction to it. It is the passage into the music.
Extended Play also serves as a way of sending out the idea to every graphic designer/musician to play a big part in coming out with the best interpretation of music through a rich visual experience using the best material, method and execution possible. Simple or unconventional. Pronounced or obscure. Independent or commercial.
As both crafts are related, the idea of co-existing in creativity makes perfect sense - we give importance to the music and to the musicians who provide them just as they provide the necessary inspiration and direction for us designers.
As a final thought, one could only hope that despite this digital age, every music fan will continue collecting physical records like owning an actual fine art piece in your hands and truly say "Print. Still. Matters."
Concept: Massive Attack is perhaps one of the most innovative/progressive musicians around without question. The idea for the album packaging is to decipher the random actual lyrics found on the cover and back and slip unto using the acrylic plastic case to see the main titles and track lists. It allows depth and interaction at the same time.

VELLUM CYCLES Branding
!nodoro was asked to re-brand and modernize the old logo of Vellum Cycles along with bespoke stationary sets. To capture the pure essence of the brand, !nodoro came up with a strong, edgier and current market look with minimalist approach for the ident.
Our artwork for VS2 exhibit in Manila. Along side with 17 design studios in the country, designers were ask to design artworks that would elaborate/interpret the United Nations goals and plans in the future.
