It was a long day of trek with steady up and down through bushes and woods.....although the knees aching and the sack getting heavier, the beauty around was so inspiring that we kept on walking with ease of mind....ahead was my husband and a little more away was my son...
Taken on trek to Annapurna Base camp in Nepal Himalayas
We are never just one — always the presence we show, the way we perceive, and the way we are perceived.
I think this image and the accompanying music sum up the hopefully gentle passing of the turbulent old year (floating away like driftwood) and with it the hope that 2016 will be better for all.
Forgive the artistic licence as the photo doesn't actually bear any direct relation to 2015 or have any driftwood in it that I can see :-)))))).

Photo collaboration with my husband Nick at Lake Mary, Glacier NP. After a long day of traveling, we decided at the last minute of sunset that despite being tired, we wanted to do a little more exploring. So we started driving toward Lake Mary. We found a trailhead, grabbed some gear and headed down an unknown trail toward the lake. It was worth every ounce of energy that we didn't have to start with. :)
Every time you lie to yourself, go against your own sense of fairness, compassion and integrity; fail to follow your dreams and utilize your gifts and talents, hurt someone you love consciously or unconsciously you detach the spiritual bond between your body and your soul.
