a traditional inn on Bodmin Moor in Cornwall, United Kingdom. Built as a coaching inn in 1750, and having an association with smuggling, it was the setting for Daphne du Maurier's 1936 novel Jamaica Inn which was made into the film Jamaica Inn in 1939 by Alfred Hitchcock. Bodmin Cornwall april 2017
Haunted house? No. It's the legendary Walloomsac Inn.
The Walloomsac Inn, once a venerable hotel with a storied legacy, now an intriguing eye magnetic corpse that mystifies and takes your attention successfully.
However, despite appearances, it’s not abandoned. The family who owned the hotel in the last years of its life, still live there. I am told by locals that they are two sisters and that the inside of the building is still beautifully furnished and in fine condition.
I was surprised, when I ventured upon this old crumbling structure right in the center of an historic district, to find that the driveway and sidewalk to the home had been freshly shoveled out from a recent snowfall.

The Blomidon Inn is located in Wolfville, Nova Scotia nestled in the heart of wine country. Like many of the other old style Victorian Inns in the province the Blomidon has an interesting history.
The land was purchased by Rufus Burgess in 1881 for $1400..00 and so the story of the Blomodion began.
Der Blick streift den Inn hinauf, Richtung Berge. Die Kirche von Grießstätt wacht über dem Fluß und die Berge umranden das Szenario!

This famous inn located in the center of Old Bennington, Vermont was built by Elijah Dewey and dates to 1771. Today it appears to be abandoned but I've heard that it's not or that it's haunted or that it was sold just a couple of years ago to new owners. It stands directly across the street from the cemetery where the famous poet Robert Frost is buried.
If anyone has any up-to-date information on this old inn please comment.

This is the old inn at Amannsalpe, where people used to rest on their way between Söllereck and Riezlern (or further). The inn was recorded in a book dating from 1740. You can see some old agriculture tools on the wall.
Now the old way that was used by the Walser for trade is a broad gravel road, a very popular walking trail offering nice views and several places to have a drink or a bite.
I'm afraid it was a bit too busy for me.
This is the Bed and breakfast we stayed at in Spring Lake, the White Lilac Inn, so quaint and beautiful, the owner and staff were delightful, the area so quite and peaceful, a short walk to the lakes, Ponds and the beach,
if ever considerign a quiet romantic time away I would strongly recommend this place, the breakfasts all home made were so tasty, so this is where we started and ended each day, shots of the area coming soon
Comments appreciated, Constructive critique even more appreciated, best way for me to learn

NO...We didn't stay here. (We camped in our travel trailer the whole trip.) I'll bet that it would be a very nice place to stay. We had lunch at the Atlantic Restaurant (below) then toured the grounds.
The historic Keltic Inn complex is located between Ingonish and Ingonish Beach, Nova Scotia. The grounds are beautiful and include a popular golf course. We stumbled upon it while touring the Cabot Trail and looking for a place to eat lunch.
The Canadian Flag (below) is located at the foot of the huge lawn of the Keltic Inn overlooking the ocean.
