The 1838 chemical Carl Hornemann begins, in its small business located in the heart of the old city of Hannover (Germany), to produce a self-paintings and utensils for artists.
Crassula ovata Gollum, otherwise known as Finger Jade or Gollum Jade, is a succulent plant with tubular leaves. My cutting of one I planted several months back is finally sprouting leaves, although it's far from looking like this yet. I thought I'd continue practicing colored pencils by drawing one.
The main subject is done in colored pencils and outlined with a new graphic liner I was testing out. The background wash is watercolors, and the ink scratches at the bottom were done with a nib pen using india ink (brown) and acrylic ink (cerulean hue blue).

DESCRIPTION SOURCE: INDIAN COLUMBUS- A Travel Guide
Karumariamman temple aka Mariamman temple, which is located in a small village named Thiruverkadu at a distance of 18km from Chennai, is one of most visited temples in and around Chennai.
Goddess worship in various forms is very popular in the state of Tamil Nadu. Parasuram was an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Parasuram's mother was Renuka Devi. She is worshipped in the names of Mariamman, Karumariamman, and Renuka Parameswari in Tamil Nadu. Most of the people do not know the legend of this goddess and they worship her as Parvathi (Goddess Shakthi - wife of Lord Shiva).
The main deity of the temple is Karumariamman. There are also shrines for Ganesh, Verkanni Amman, Subramanya with Valli-Devasena in a glass hall, Srinivas, Ram with Sita, Lakshman, and Hanuman, and Saptha Mathas (seven divine mothers). The highlight of the temple is snak hole. This temple is popular for snake worship, as devotees believe that Karumariamman took the form of snake. There are some idols found under the neem tree in this temple.
SINCE I DON'T KNOW THE REAL ARTIST OF THE ART FORM,HERE I TRIED IN INDIAN INK MEDIUM,I FEEL LIKE IT CAME OUT SOMEHOW REAL :-)
A veces aparecen cosas inesperadas en mis pinturas... habeis visto a la mujer embarazada de la derecha? lleva moño, no? ;-) (Sometimes, unexpected things appears in my paintings... have you seen the pregnant woman with a bun of the right side?)

Just loving my De Atramentis document brown ink.
It is quite strange to draw brown lines after all the 1000s of pages of black lines over the years. While drawing the lines it feels like it will look wrong - too brown... but when I add the colour it changes and oh! I am loving it a lot. (I am a big fan of brown generally)
I am also amazed that 2 pens which never worked well are loving the DeA Brown as well. My Sailor pen and a Noodlers Ahab.
Last night I tried to have a night off and sat down to watch some cricket and sketch at the same time... this page just randomly evolved - composition wise and colour wise. I was playing with wetness too - a lot of wetness.
This is a page of my history homework. Yes, I do happen to sit in my classes and do doodles of crazy designs and different shapes and sizes. You would never know this is homework unless you really examine the white areas!
I am not a fan of tattoos but I have to admit I found this guy's tattoos interesting.
A wonderful display of the indigenous culture, they had 3 beautiful days of dancing and entertainment.

Most effective seen at original size.
Small 5x7 note card sketch with a small brush & India ink.
As I recall, this was quick sketch based upon a Rembrandt ink study
for the purpose of learning speed in washes with a few fine details at the end
with the point of the brush.
Oh, I see there are a few touches of white gouache.
Playing around with a large vase and some drawing ink. Using a pipet to drop the ink into a water filed vase created these shapes.
Strobist:

Nikon SB80DX to the left fired onto the backdrop, triggered with is optical slave.
Just wanted to introduce a whole serie about japanese tattoo.
The whole serie was made using a Mamiya RB67 pro-S and Ilford HP5 film.

The botlles contain various inks, the jars are full of pre-mixed ink & water solution for the waterbrushes. The assorted colour solutions all contain at least one ink colour, plus of course, water. The inks from different manufacturers seem to mix with with each other without any problems – but they are all fountain pen inks.
