The Ink Pots at Johnston Canyon in Banff National Park are in the green pool at the bottom of the photo. I didn't think they where all that impressive. The valley they sit in was.
Still in Melbourne. The first day we didn't visit a lot this city... Just before we're heading back to the hotel, we heard a soft music. There was a street concert with the Red Ink band. This was fresh and very pleasant!
the room hums with the low buzz of the tattoo machine. his arms cradle his head, a gesture of surrender and resolve. the black ink etches "grateful" into his skin, a permanent declaration of something deeply felt. the artist, focused and steady, works with precision under the stark glow of the lamp. the room is a mix of steel and stillness, the smell of antiseptic lingering in the air. each stroke marks not just skin, but time—an act of creation, pain, and meaning captured in monochrome.

Apart from a tsunami warning that prompted an evacuation, we had a week of exceptionally balmy weather. I was able to spend my lunch breaks at the Berkley marina doing a a couple of 30 minute sketches.
I've no idea what type this is- so off to try and ID it now!I did think maybe a shaggy ink cap, but if it's not bought from a shop and has chestnut or button in the title then I've no idea what mushroom it is! But they did look pretty in the grass! - looked at several images on here, and I'm sticking with Shaggy Ink Caps but please correct my ID if I'm wrong, ;0) Thank you to Tim for making me take another look. Ok it looks like they could be 'Magpie Ink Caps' never heard of those. So always good to find something I've not found before! Spotted these ones at RHS Wisley at the weekend.
