Ich war gestern spontan in der Innenstadt fotografieren.

Da es vorgestern Abend geschneit hat, lag zum Teil noch der Schnee auf den Dächern :)

Yesterday, I spontaneously went to take photos in the city centre. Since it snowed the night before yesterday, some of the snow was still on the roofs :)

Am Nachmittag des 21. August 2018 blieb ein wenig Zeit, die ich bei Fahlenbach an der Strecke München - Ingolstadt verbrachte. Von weitem zu hören war die Doppeltraktion aus 218 002 und 225 002 von EGP, die mit einem Kesselwagenzug die Strecke in die Hallertau lautstark erklommen.

Die Kirche wurde von Carl Alexander Heideloff entworfen. Am 1. Juni 1845 fand die Grundsteinlegung statt. Die Einweihung der Protestantischen Stadtpfarrkirche fand am 15. November 1846 statt. Ihren heutigen Namen erhielt die Matthäuskirche 1955, als mit der Lukaskirche eine zweite evangelische Kirche im Osten der Stadt errichtet wurde.

Bei der Umgestaltung des Kirchenraums durch Olaf Andreas Gulbransson von 1959 bis 1961 wurde das alte Altarkreuz im Eingangsbereich platziert.

Unter Hugo Distler wurde sie 1985 abermals renoviert. Diesmal überwiegen ockerfarbene Töne an der Raumschale. Distler fertigte auch 1994 die fünf allegorischen Medaillons an der Brüstung der Empore.

A 15th century castle in Gothic style. The oldest parts date to 1430, between 1470 and 1490 it has been completed.

Today it houses the Bavarian Army Museum.
