This Gothic style chapel adjoining King's College (which itself was established in 1441) was built 1446-1515. This very grand building is somewhat of a symbol of Cambridge, and is also famous for having the world's largest fan vault.
When I visited Cambridge last November the chapel was closed for visitors due to the Corona virus situation - but now it has re-opened and I am very happy I was able to get an inside view of this fantastic building.

Flowers being arranged in the Great Hall at Blenheim palace - a rather magnificent room with more than 20 metres from floor to ceiling.
Blenheim palace (the only palace in England not belonging to the royal family or the church) was begun in 1705 and finished around 1722, for the first duke of Marlborough by the architect Sir John Vanbrugh. The name Blenheim comes from the Battle of Blenheim (which happened in Bavaria, Germany in 1704). The whole place is built in English Baroque - a rather short-lived architectural style, Baroque was never big in England.
Buckingham Palace.
Costruito in stile Neoclassico.
Throwing it back to last year when, while walking peacefully in St. James's park, I had a pleasant encounter with this amazing male fox.

Regno Unito, Londra, Islington, Autunno 2021
Regent's Canal is a canal across an area just north of central London, England. The canal is 13.8 km long.In 1812, the Regent's Canal Company was formed to cut a new canal from the Grand Junction Canal's Paddington Arm to Limehouse, where a dock was planned at the junction with the Thames. The architect John Nash played a part in its construction, using his idea of 'barges moving through an urban landscape. Completed in 1820, it was built too close to the start of the railway age to be financially successful and at one stage the Regent’s only narrowly escaped being turned into a railway. But the canal went on to become a vital part in southern England's transport system. Together with the Grand Junction Canal and the associated routes to the Midlands and north, the Regent’s Canal carried huge quantities of timber, coal, building materials and foodstuffs into and out of London. In fact, long-distance traffic continued to use the canal into the 1960s.
Regno unito, East Sussex, Beachy Head, Primavera 2014
Beachy Head is a chalk headland in Southern England. Its height made it one of the most notorious suicide spots in the world. The chalk was formed between 66 and 100 million years ago, when the area was under the sea. Then the chalk was uplifted and after the last Ice Age sea levels rose cutting into the chalk to form the dramatic cliffs. The headland was a danger to shipping. In 1831, construction of a lighthouse began on the on the next headland west from Beachy Head. Because mist and low clouds, Beachy Head Lighthouse was built at the sea level. Beachy Head is well known for the closing scene of Quadrophenia, where Phil Daniels shoots a scooter from the top of the cliffs.
The tower on the right is part of the Pembroke College Auditorium and the lower one to the left is situated on the Pitt building. But the rest of the buildings are part of Peterhouse. It really is just a stone'e throw between the sights of this town.
The shot is taken from Coe Fen, next to the river Cam.
