To see it in flames is extremely sad !
Notre Dame cathedral in Paris is currently on fire, and firefighters are working ...
Absence makes small passions vanish and inflames the big ones, like the wind blows out a candle and stokes a fire.
(François de La Rochefoucauld)
“Man was born for society. However little He may be attached to the World, He never can wholly forget it, or bear to be wholly forgotten by it. Disgusted at the guilt or absurdity of Mankind, the Misanthrope flies from it: He resolves to become an Hermit, and buries himself in the Cavern of some gloomy Rock. While Hate inflames his bosom, possibly He may feel contented with his situation: But when his passions begin to cool; when Time has mellowed his sorrows, and healed those wounds which He bore with him to his solitude, think you that Content becomes his Companion? "...
― Matthew Gregory Lewis, The Monk
The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Galatians 5:22

First Day
O Immaculate Heart of Mary Mother of Jesus, Our Lady of Fatima, inspire me to grieve sincerely for the sins that weigh heavily upon the souls of men. Sorrowfully I recall the bitter and harsh punishments heaped upon thy Divine Son, when He was cruelly scourged at the pillar, unmercifully crowned with with thorns. I recall His sad journey to Calvary, His crucifixion, and ignominious death on the cross. Yet, they were but the instruments of pain. It was my sins that really caused His precious blood to be shed. His excessive love willed that He should suffer my salvation. Thus, I will give my little love to make amends and atone for a thoughtless and unappreciative world.
Oh Immaculate Heart of Mary, you who suffered, and shared with Him each pain caused and inflicted by our sins, intercede for us that we may be privileged o unite our hearts with yours in an effort to make reparation for our sins, and the sins of ungrateful mankind. Amen.
Our Lady of Fatima, inflame our hearts with the love of reparation.
Sick at home, had the chance to take some shots of the sky, in a short period of time because the sunlight was quickly disappearing. (shit quality because: flickr)

Create dreams from our pain
Find a love that's as plain as it's holy

i took this picture with my fingers in front of my camera so it would look like a light leak. i'm such a big fat ugly cheater.
anyway, i like the photo but haven't thought up of something creative to do with it. i'll probably end up making a collage with it or something.
on my tumblr too.

I've had this figure for a while but I never took any decent pictures of it, I only had one or to I think, so here's a few more, added the tiger stripe uniform myself to make him look more like he does in MGS3
That Mystery of Love!
by Augustus Toplady
If anything can awake astonishment, and inflame our
gratitude, it must be that mystery of love- God manifested
in our nature, and made man, to bleed and die for our salvation.
That He should condescend to be sold for thirty shekels of
silver, to be apprehended and condemned as a malefactor;
to be crowned with piercing thorns; to be scourged at the
bloody pillar; to bear His cross; to be numbered with
transgressors; to be reviled by rufianly soldiers, and a merciless
populace; to be torn with tormenting nails; and pierced with a
hostile spear; and suspended on the ignominious tree, between
heaven and earth, as unworthy of either, though He was the
maker and preserver of both.
What thought can reach, what tongue can tell, the infinite riches
of His love to man, that induced Him freely to undergo all this,
only to make man happy!
Nay, He not only freely underwent it, but even
longed for the time of His crucifixion to come-
"I have a baptism of sufferings to be baptized with; and
how am I straitened till it be accomplished?" (Luke 12:50)
The Band In Flames has a mascot they use called The Jester or Jester Head. The album The Jester Race, the Jester embodies the human race, and as such portrays us as the fools who are destroying ourselves. The Jester is us, we are the Jester.

Reifel BC. Poor bird has an injury or eye inflamation and has been perched at the same place for quite a few hours. In the afternoon, it slowly gain more energy to start moving around. When I left Reifel, the bird has already left. Can only hope for the best. In instances like this, I learn to appreciate not only human's medical system (although far from perfect) but also all the work that rescues and other volunteer work.

Sorry if I gross you out by posting this, I just thought I would let you guys know how bad I am addicted to photography. I have had something going on with my right eye since Monday August 10th. It has been very painful and sensitive to light but that has not stopped me from going out with my camera. Call me stupid I guess. I thought what ever this is, would go away on its own but my husband has finally talked me into making a doc appointment. I go this Friday to find out what it is. I am thinking it may be pink eye but I’m not sure. Advil helps with the pain but today I started getting blurred vision. Sucks but not bad enough to keep me inside =0)
Update on my eye.......I went to the optomologist today and was told that I have Iritis. For those interested: www.kmgwebs.com/eyecare/Iritis.html
You know how usually by the time you get to the doctor, your symptoms have mostly cleared up? Not the case this time.....i woke up at 6am this morning with the worse pain ever....my eye was throbbing so bad. It took me almost an hour just to be able to open my eye and when I did, I looked in the mirror and my pupil was staying very tiny while the pupil in my good eye was large. I was a bit worried.....guess I could not have picked a better day to be going to the doctor.
The doctor told me that unfortunately they can not determine how or why I got it. He said it can be associated with Rumatoid Arthritis so he sent me over to the hospital for blood work. He gave me some eyedrops and asked to see me back in 2 weeks. So, with any luck the blood work will come back normal and the eyedrops will clear me up in a few days. He did warn me that sometimes it can take several weeks to recover. All I can say is thank goodness for Ibuprofen because without it, my eye is useless.
I am not going to let this stop me from taking pictures....It is suppose to be a gorgeous weekend in my neck of the woods and I plan on being out in it as much as I can! They always say....No Pain, No Gain!
Have a wonderful weekend everyone! =0)
