The Infinity Gauntlet (1991) Issue No. 1
First submission for OLS's contest.
Here is a copy of the original cover for reference.
A few notes:
1) I created my Infinity Gauntlet MOC for this contest, and I will be posting detailed pictures of it shortly (yes, it fits on the Thanos Big Fig :)
2) Abiding by the contest rules, there are no bootleg pieces or figs featured.
3) I took a few liberties in replacing some characters, because:
a) there are some relatively obscure characters on the cover (particularly for non-MARVEL fans -- such as: A'Lars/Mentor, Firelord, Eros, Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, Jake Miller, Ralph Bunker, Bambi Long, etc.)
b) i don't have MOCs for all of these figs!
c) i wanted to give a shout out to some of the more recognizable / popular teams / characters that were in the story but not featured on the original cover (e.g. X-Men, Namor, Fantastic Four, Daredevil, etc)
4) I must have taken literally dozens of photos to get this the way I wanted, in the end, I'm pretty pleased at how it turned out.

This large Thanos statue, in all its purple glory, will be on display at the LEGO booth at this week’s Comic Con. He joins the UltraKatty statue that was revealed previously. A straight on view and a time-lapse video of the build are included below.
