I do enjoy putting together a Lego model for Christmas. The Infinity gauntlet from the Avengers film kept me occupied for several hours. The final part of the construction involves putting the infinity stones onto the gauntlet. Not easy to photograph but the iPhone portrait function is very clever at producing a professional look portrait.
The Black Order have collected all 6 Infinity Stones, The Power Stone, The Space Stone, The Soul Stone, The Reality Stone, The Mind Stone, and The Time Stone.

Recently read the infinity gauntlet story line, and it inspired me to make these guys

StarFox: not really sure why I made him, other then i had the idea for the combo.
Thanos: please apriciate the tiny detail on the infinity gauntlet. look at the tiny gems. it is beutiful and i am proud. as for thanos himself, i want to go back a redo the head, since it could be better, mainly the eyes. i might commission someone actually, now that i think about it. yo Zach, would you be up for that?
Adam Warlock: simple but i really like how he came out. really hope he shows up in gaurdians of the galaxy 2.

My second entry to Brickset’s “Build a Polybag” contest.
A bare-bones polybag version of the time machine set up used at the end of Avengers: Endgame. This model has one minifigure plus 38 pieces (counting Cap’s two accessories). Due to the size limitations, the MOC is quite fragile and I might have used an illegal building technique, although I am not sure (it doesn’t cause undue stress). Regardless, I hope you enjoy.

What a plot twist it would be if the real big bad was in fact the Collector. It wouldn't happen, but with an obsession and collection like his he would be a formidable villian for the MCU. The figure is from an ebay vendor printed on official lego pieces.

Notes:
• Groot [MOD]: basically I felt (as many others have noted) that the big fig was too tall -- the design is great, much better than the official TLG one -- but too tall nonetheless.
• My solution was to do some major modifications / surgery -- giving him a measured height reduction (kind of like the reverse procedure by Vince Freeman from the movie Gattaca).
• I'm not sure how I feel about the final product -- it's definitely not my best work, but then, in my own defense, I don't think I will be using Sculpey again -- it's too hard to work with and the heating component adds too many variables.
• I'll likely be using a self hardening clay agent next time (perhaps ProCreate) -- so I may re-do Groot again.
• Starlord and Gamora's arms were swapped out for Rocket Raccon's SDCC variant arms.
It's my first time using clay, but I would love to hear people's thoughts? Like it? Hate it?

So, you thought there were only six Infinity Stones didn't you, well guess what, there are actually more (others that I don't think I'll be able to make for reasons, and I want to focus on this right now). I found out about this from Death Battle (Deadpool vs. Mask), and if you know about the stone and about me, and my favorite red mouthy mercenary that I might have just mentioned, you probably already knew why I had to make this. I basically painted the stone dark blue because, I think that's what color that is.
