I got to babysit this little ball of adorableness yesterday, I can't believe she's almost 14 weeks already! We had a great day, barely any crying, and lots of smiles. She's going to be a GREAT big cousin and future BFF to our little one, I'm sure.

This is an image of a great egret chick that I saw at Gatorland on March 20th. It had a sibling or two but I just decided that this image isolated this little one better.

Our little 4.5 month old, Hadley, contracted Botulism this week. We are in the hospital and will be for some time while her body fights the bad toxins that are attacking her nervous system. She is making headway every day. I only post this picture in hopes of educating the public AND parents of newborns thru 1 year olds where it is most prominent. SYMPTOMS:
The first symptom is usually constipation, followed by generalized weakness, loss of head control and difficulty feeding.
Only about 76 cases a year happen in the US. Only 2 cases a year in Colorado.
