Site of lost souls and shipwrecks. Sadly a historical place for suicides and the most well know wreck of the Dunbar. South headland, entrance to Sydney Harbor
A simple white flower from my archives that was captured with my late and infamous 18-200mm Sigma that I was never too excited about. Believe it or not it managed to capture half decent macros. Single RAW shot. I know you guys can't even see the bokeh since it's so dark.
I originally made this in color but then I took the color out ... and toned it a little... I think it looks better now.

Wee hours still, my awakened sight.
In her warmth I will hide inside.
And confide in distant freeway cars.
And wait,
in a wound made of stars.

Ladies...THIS IS ROWAN! He may portray himself as a quiet person, but make no mistake he can make your night perfect. Gentle whispers on your skin, soft serenades to pleasure your ears, maybe even challenge him in a board game. Just remember, you can have a taste, but you can always steal him away for more!

The Packard Plant in Detroit. I was down in this area on Sunday, trolling through the neighborhood, when I saw flashing lights blocking my passage heading west. I tried a side street a block south, more flashing police lights. I kept crawling south until I found a unblocked street. It turns out there had been a shooting murder in the area, and then a second incident, resulting in the victim dragged down under the car for a mile. The police said it was one of the most gruesome crime scenes they had ever seen.
This reminded me of how close I am to the erupting violence in the city these days. I could have been part of that story.
The Texas School Book Depository (now the Dallas County Administration Building) is the former name of a seven-floor building facing Dealey Plaza in Dallas. Located on the northwest corner of Elm and North Houston Streets, at the western end of downtown Dallas, its address is 411 Elm Street. In 1963, JFK's motorcade came down Elm St. (in the picture) towards the triple underpass, to the left of the picture). The live oaks in front of the infamous building were there in 1963 but did not cover the view from the 6th floor window from where Oswald shot JFK. In fact their canopies are not obstructing the view from that window now, 50 years later. The entire 6th floor of the building is a museum.
Old Harry Rocks are three chalk formations, including a stack and a stump, located at Handfast Point, on the Isle of Purbeck in Dorset, southern England. They mark the most eastern point of the Jurassic Coast, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Legend. There are various stories about the naming of the rocks. One legend says that the Devil (traditionally known euphemistically as "Old Harry") slept on the rocks. Another local legend says that the rocks were named after Harry Paye, the infamous Poole pirate, whose ship hid behind the rocks awaiting passing merchantmen.
The Infamous workhouse's, first opened in 1840, at a time when the workhouse was the only public charity. This is just one wing of Portumna workhouse.
For anyone viewing this after April 1st it is an edited photo and the description is part of an April Fool.
The twin arches on the northern side of Church Stretton Station were a result of style overriding function. When the line opened on the 1st of April 1853 2 chimneys, 3 smoke deflectors and 4 drivers heads were detached. An emergency programme of works was initiated to lower the trackbed and increase the breadth and height of both arches. There is still a 30 mph limit on the approaches to the bridge just in case the trackbed has shifted and the approaching train starts to wobble!
