After silence, that which comes nearest to expressing the inexpressible is music.

Let's all try to adapt to our new reality & keep looking forward, not backwards! Happy June first, happy new week ahead everyone =) Best viewed large!

I saw this shadow just today.

“Christians will be found in the neighbourhood of Jesus – but Jesus is found in the neighbourhood of human confusion and suffering, defencelessly alongside those in need. If being baptized is being led to where Jesus is, then being baptized is being led towards the chaos and the neediness of a humanity that has forgotten its own destiny.”

-Rowan Williams, Being Christian

Once a week I give my plants a light spray. It seems to keep them happy.

Day 87 of 365

T. G. Green's produced the Cornishware range of kitchenware at their Pottery in Derbyshire. The striped design is still produced today but the original factory closed in 2007.

A pretty and enchanting planter pot with a mini garden of palms, leaves and flowers. I loved the country feel about this image with the warm colors and the lovely design of the planter pot or tub with lovely rope handles and crazed metallic look.

An easy care, late-winter blooming orchid which asks for nothing more than the light from a nearby window, a once-a-week watering, and some occasional misting to produce a cheerful ‘swarm’ of tiny (1.5 cm) flowers… Not being flower garden deprived in the winter is a “little thing” that makes me very happy.

Cherry tomatoes ripening on the vine in a greenhouse, with green and red fruits visible against a backdrop of lush vegetation. Natural sunlight enhances their colors.

Day 93 of 365

I planted some lettuce in a small loaf pan. My little indoor garden gnome is helping me care for it.

I have no idea what this plant is called but it caught my eye because the leaves were huge. It was located in the Ninfarium, a sub-tropical indoor garden in the Mansion.

My good friend Tracy informed me that March is national gerbera month! This gives me the perfect excuse to post pictures of these beauties all month long! Thanks Tracy☺️

Nature beauty: flower. It exists some species of bug lives within the flower's tiny eco-system, to my surprise!

While much of Singapore is steeped in history, a lot of the city has a distinctly futuristic, sci-fi feel to it. This was one of those places.

The distinctive indoor space with the undulating glass-and-steel canopy is the Robert and Arlene Kogod Courtyard at the Smithsonian American Art Museum and National Portrait Gallery in Washington, D.C.

These two museums share the historic Old Patent Office Building. The courtyard was enclosed in 2007 with a wave-like roof designed by the British architectural firm Foster & Partners. It’s one of the most beautiful indoor public spaces in Washington DC — filled with natural light, trees, and seating. The space is often used for events, concerts, and quiet relaxation between gallery visits.
