slightly amusing tale: every now and again leslie kindly goes through my millions of buckets of dolly clothes to help me figure out what i should sell to bring myself out of dolly debt... it's quite the scene... she picks things out, i toss them back in... rationalizing -- "surely we can't sell the mitten stock!"

anyway, she put this dress on the chopping block... but, i rescued it. this is the first HOP dress i ever bought :) and.... i really do like it a lot -- it's a keeper!

Part of a narrative storytime runway showcase presented in San Francisco in December of 2008. We'd never heard of anything like this being done before but after the roaring success of our storytime cabaret in November we knew what had to be done.

Handmade in sterling silver and 14ct gold.

Repoussed flower pendant with a yellow jade bead suspended on an organic-looking pin which has been soldered to form a loop. The pendant hangs on a necklace of natural silk in black with handmade findings.

This design is actually similar to a bag that is due to be featured in Quick and Crafty magazine Feb 2009 edition. I have been notified that it will be in the magazine as part of an Etsy feature and am supposed to be receiving the magazine soon. We'll see!
