Wedding season in India is a really colourful time. Processions feature dancers, a marching band and the groom on a white horse or better yet, an elephant.
This is the reception area where the groom side waits for the bride. I was expecting the bride to sit beside the groom...but I guessed wrong :). At least the replacement is as cute. On where they will be wed is on another floor. And on the ground floor is the dinner area. The motif was gold and maroon. I love the girls' sarees here, it's so grand! That's Roops (shortcut for Rupasharee), Rahul's sister, on his left. She's pretty, isn't she? :)

That's Rahul, the suave groom (according to Nikki and I have to agree) who welcomed us not only to his wedding but also to his family. The adorable kid with ovaltine super powers (he never gets tired and he just runs around, like energizer on the loose) is Additya, his nephew. Nikki said this is the father figure pose of Rahul. :)
