Partial Puddle
Indian Navy MH-60R, on it's delivery flight from NY. The shallow puddle didn't give me enough to get the full reflection.
At the 1982 Farnborough show, we were blessed to witness one of the early Sea Harriers that had been built for the Indian Navy.
It carries the military serial IN601, but also the 'civil' registration of G-9-478 which had been allocated for the aircraft to operate under 'B Conditions'. It was a bit like a trade plate on a car, but these days a factory fresh aircraft for export uses a UK military serial in the normal sequence.
In all, the Indians received 30 Sea Harriers and retired them in 2016.

Early on a murky July morning in 1986, S44, a Type 209 submarine still in the hands of the German manufacturer, HDW, departs Kiel. This unit was delivered to the Indian Navy in September that year as the lead vessel in the four-boat Shishumar-class.
The Shishumar-class are diesel-electric attack submarines, currently in active service with the Indian Navy. These submarines are a lengthier and heavier Indian variant of the Type 209 submarines developed by the German yard Howaldtswerke-Deutsche Werft (HDW) under the internal designation Type 1500. The first two vessels were built by HDW at Kiel, while the remainder were built at Mazagon Dock Limited (MDL), Mumbai under a technology transfer agreement. The submarines were commissioned between 1986 and 1994. They have a displacement of 1660 tons when surfaced, a speed of 22 kts and a complement of 40 including eight officers.
Taken from aboard HMS Boxer, which was preparing to transit the Kiel Canal.

Lockheed L.1049G Super Constellation (c/n 4614)
Indian Navy
INS Hansa, Goa-Dabolim (VOGO)
unknown date
The Indian Navy operated five Super Constellations on long-range maritime reconnaissance missions. All five were former Air India and Indian Air Force machines, and based at INS Hansa at Goa-Dabolim with INAS 312 "Albatross".
Included was IN315, which was captured at its homebase at an unknown date. The Constellations were in service with the Navy between 1976 and 1983, so the photo was most probably taken in the late seventies.
IN315 was built for Air India as VT-DHM in 1955, and was acquired by the Air Force as BG-575 in 1961. In November 1976 it was transferred to the Navy, and when the type was struck off charge in 1983 and replaced by Ilyushin IL-38s and later Tu-142s, IN315 was preserved and is now on display at the Naval Aviation Museum in Goa.

It is what we get by the destruction.
Taken during the Navy-Day Celebrations on the shore of Bay of Bengal, Visakhapatnam, on 4th December.
Indian Navy exhibited the way they ruin enemy's base-station by blowing an aritificial target up, in the sea.
We witnessed the famous "Mushroom of Fire".
Later we witnessed this "Big Zero" in the sky that stood as a symbolic warning.
The Nature foretold what the world would get as the result of War and Destruction.
May the Mankind understand its prophesy!

My friend Vishal nicknamed this shabby old bird "the Air France of An-32s".
Nevertheless, it made for interesting shooting in the sunset light.
