Kangchenjunga is the third highest mountain in the world which also known as Sleeping Buddha. Its summit lies at 8,586 m (28,169 ft) in a section of the Himalayas.

Sandakphu or Sandakpur (3636 m; 11,930 ft) is a mountain peak in the Singalila Ridge on the border between India and Nepal. It is the highest point of the ridge and of the state of West Bengal, India.

This is one of the rooms that was used by noble laureate Rabindra Nath #Tagore in his last days from April 1940 to August 1940 at #kalimpong #India. Known locally as #Gauripur House ,it was from this house that he broadcasted the poem 'Janmadin' (birthday) through All India Radio. ill-maintained that it is ,it was sad to see the furniture from that time and maybe used by him too, being used by caretakers and watchmen of the property,which is in bad shape.

On the first day of our visit to #Leh-Ladakh, with no guesses of what we would end with, we went up the hill.Little did we know that we soon will witness a magical view. A beautiful yon orange sun making its way down west into the mighty mountains of #Ladakh range, dreamy sky, snow clad peaks and soothing sounds of buddist music from the #valley. Much more than magical, it was #surreal.

This image was shot from 'Namgyal Tsemo #Monastery' , #Leh district, #Ladakh. I shot multiple #longexposures on #Nikon using #Tokina #ultrawide lens fitted with #haidafilters over a sturdy #fotopro #tripod. Blended all the images to make this shot.

Somewhere between frozen Tsongmo Lake & Nathula Pass

three photos captured by iPhone in RAW format has been merged into one Panorama. Weather was not brilliant but neither anyone is complaining about it as i love every thing about mountains.
