Global safer sex advocacy coalition Impulse Group launched their newest branch on Thursday, November 14 in New Delhi, India. The event was graced with the presence of guest of honor Prince Manvendra, the openly gay highest ranking royal in the country. About 150 people attended the event, which featured speeches, a magic show, and a lively dance performance.

It was on 21st March 2007, AHF India Cares dedicated the Centre Of Excellence – Providing Cutting Edge HIV Medical Care and Support Services. Since then, AHF India Cares has partnered with organizations to expand access to rapid testing programs throughout the country, campaigned against increased drug pricing and promote sexual health and HIV awareness. AHF India Cares provides increased access to treatment by having longer clinic operating hours and mobile testing vans in most-at-risk regions.

The event also featured a special screening of documentary “Your Money or Your Life" which showcases on the deceptive and avaricious practices of the greedy drug companies, and tells real-life stories of people and families that are being hurt, and their health and lives endangered, by the heartless profiteering of Big Pharma Companies. The screening was followed by a technical panel discussion.

ปัจจุบันกุสินารา มีอนุสรณ์สถานที่สำคัญคือสถูปใหญ่ซึ่งพระเจ้าอโศกมหาราชสร้างไว้และบรรจุพระบรมสารีริกธาตุ วิหารปรินิพพานซึ่งเป็นที่ประดิษฐานพระพุทธรูปปางปรินิพพานอยู่ภายในและมีซากศาสนสถานโบราณโดยรอบมากมาย และมีปูชนียวัตถุสำคัญ ๆ ที่ชาวพุทธนิยมไปสักการะคือ "สถูปปรินิพพาน" เป็นสถูปแบบทรงโอคว่ำ ตั้งอยู่ด้านหน้าในฐานเดียวกันกับสถูปปรินิพพาน ภายในประดิษฐานพระพุทธรูปปางเสด็จดับขันธปรินิพพาน (คือพระพุทธรูปนอนบรรทมตะแคงเบื้องขวา) ศิลปะมถุรา มีอายุกว่า 1,500 ปี ในจารึกระบุผู้สร้างคือ หริพละสวามี โดยนายช่างชื่อ ทินะ ชาวเมืองมถุรา ในปัจจุบันพระพุทธรูปองค์นี้ถือได้ว่าเป็นจุดหมายสำคัญที่ชาวพุทธจะมาสักการะ เพราะเป็นพระพุทธรูปที่มีพุทธลักษณะอันพิเศษคือเหมือนคนนอนหลับธรรมดา แสดงให้เห็นว่าพระพุทธองค์ได้เสด็จดับขันธปรินิพพานจากไปอย่างผู้หมดกังวลในโลกทั้งปวง
