Bicycle, bicycle, bicycle
I want to ride my bicycle, bicycle, bicycle
I want to ride my bicycle
I want to ride my bike
I want to ride my bicycle
I want to ride it where I like
You say black, I say white
You say bark, I say bite
You say shark, I say hey man
Jaws was never my scene
And I don't like Star Wars
You say Rolls, I say Royce
You say God give me a choice
You say Lord, I say Christ
I don't believe in Peter Pan
Frankenstein or Superman
All I wanna do is
Bicycle, bicycle, bicycle
I want to ride my bicycle, bicycle, bicycle
I want to ride my bicycle
I want to ride my bike
I want to ride my bicycle
I want to ride my bicycle, races are coming your way
So forget all your duties, oh yeah
Fat bottomed girls, they'll be riding today
So look out for those beauties, oh yeah
On your marks, get set, go
Bicycle race, bicycle race, bicycle race
Bicycle, bicycle, bicycle
I want to ride my bicycle, bicycle, bicycle, bicycle
(I want a) bicycle race
You say coke, I say 'caine
You say John, I say Wayne
Hot dog, I say cool it man
I don't wanna be the President of America
You say smile, I say cheese
Cartier, I say please
Income tax, I say Jesus
I don't wanna be a candidate
For Vietnam or Watergate
'Cause all I want to do is
Bicycle, bicycle, bicycle
I want to ride my bicycle, bicycle (c'mon), bicycle
I want to ride my bicycle
I want to ride my bike
I want to ride my bicycle
I want to ride it where I like

Coron is famous for its World War II wreck diving, and the site has been named in many lists of top dive spots in the world. In September 1944, a fleet of Japanese ships hiding in the harbor were sunk in a daring raid by the US navy. The result is around ten well preserved underwater shipwrecks surrounded with coral reef.
Coron limestone was formed 260 million years ago as a coral reef along the length of Southeast Asia and was part of the China Continental Crust. It was later rafted to its present location north of Palawan by tectonic movements.
They were uplifted by tectonism some 30 million years ago and then extensively eroded by waves and monsoon rains to create its present unique “karst” topography. These limestone crops rise dramatically as cathedral-like formations more 400 meters above sea level.

Island No. 1☼ Lipari
The Campo Bianco area lies in the northeast of the island of Lipari. Pumice, a lava that has been foamed and solidified by gases, was mined here until a few years ago and was considered an important source of income on Lipari.

Der Bimsstein, eine durch Gase stark aufgeschäumte und erstarrte Lava, wurde hier bis vor wenigen Jahren abgebaut und galt als bedeutende Einahmequelle auf Lipari.

( update: this pic isn't a selfie, I asked a friend to take a picture of me, the camera was mine though 😅)
When I have a day off I usually go to the " office" and try to work for my self. A thought went trough my head the other day of turning pro ( pro photographer is someone who has an income from photography it doesn't mean it's better that a amateur enthusiast ) but then I realized I'd probably lose interest and it will turn into a Job. And going hiking taking photos and getting home exhausted.... is the best feeling ever. Thanks for the visit and have nice day.
“The average monthly income of the Kyiv courier Glovo in December 2022 is UAH 25,000–30,000, provided that deliveries are made within eight hours a day. A year ago, the figures were more modest - UAH 16,000-18,000, but to compensate for inflation, the company increased the bonus rate since June.”

“HMS Belfast is a Town-class light cruiser that was built for the Royal Navy. She is now permanently moored as a museum ship on the River Thames in London and is operated by the Imperial War Museum.
Construction of Belfast, the first ship in the Royal Navy to be named after the capital city of Northern Ireland and one of ten Town-class cruisers, began in December 1936. She was launched on St Patrick's Day 1938. Commissioned in early August 1939 shortly before the outbreak of the Second World War, Belfast was initially part of the British naval blockade against Germany. In November 1939, Belfast triggered a German mine and, in spite of fears that she would be scrapped, spent more than two years undergoing extensive repairs. Belfast returned to action in November 1942 with improved firepower, radar equipment, and armour. Belfast saw action escorting Arctic convoys to the Soviet Union during 1943 and in December 1943 played an important role in the Battle of North Cape, assisting in the destruction of the German warship Scharnhorst. In June 1944, Belfast took part in Operation Overlord supporting the Normandy landings. In June 1945, she was redeployed to the Far East to join the British Pacific Fleet, arriving shortly before the end of the Second World War. Belfast saw further combat action in 1950–52 during the Korean War and underwent an extensive modernisation between 1956 and 1959. A number of further overseas commissions followed before she entered reserve in 1963.
In 1967, efforts were initiated to avert Belfast's expected scrapping and to preserve her as a museum ship. A joint committee of the Imperial War Museum, the National Maritime Museum, and the Ministry of Defence was established and then reported in June 1968 that preservation was practical. In 1971, however, the government decided against preservation, prompting the formation of the private HMS Belfast Trust to campaign for her preservation. The efforts of the Trust were successful, and the government transferred the ship to the Trust in July 1971. Brought to London, she was moored on the River Thames near Tower Bridge in the Pool of London. Opened to the public in October 1971, Belfast became a branch of the Imperial War Museum in 1978. Since 1973 she has been home to the City of London Sea Cadets who meet on board twice a week. A popular tourist attraction, Belfast received over 327,000 visitors in 2019. As a branch of a national museum and part of the National Historic Fleet, Belfast is supported by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport, admissions income, and the museum's commercial activities.
Germany, Black Forest, Todtnauberg, the road to the small mountain village with approximately eight hundred inhabitants, located at 1021 mtr over sea level in a valley towards the sunny southern side, a winter/ski as well as summer resort, near the 1493 mtr high Feldberg, the highest hill of Germanys highlands. First mentioned in documents in the 12th century, agriculture & a mining industry was the most important sources of income. 1870 the first tourists spotted the small village as a “climatic health resort”.
2000 years ago, the Romans moved north from what is now Italy to expand their empire.
The Romans named the large, contiguous forest area "Silva Nigra" because from a distance it looked like a huge, impenetrable, terrifying black forest.
The name "Schwarzwald" / "Black Forest" was first mentioned in the year 868.

Before my maternal grandfather (a severe alcoholic and wife abuser) died of lung cancer (he smoked), he managed to hold a job with the welfare department -- handing out government cheese and other commodities.
The governmental distribution of commodities, which was an integral part of LBJ's "Great Society," had a profound impact on every community in America. In-kind distribution of "commodities" was soon replaced by food stamps, but the impact was the same. The government had created incentives for "families" to have low incomes in order to qualify for free food (and housing), which in turn created incentives for "families" to exclude income-earning fathers, which in turn created single-mother families, which in turn created troubled children.
It was the exemplar of a government program whose unintended consequences caused incalculable damage to the very persons it was supposed to benefit. Fortunately, President Bill Clinton had the courage to tell the truth about this horrible system and essentially abolish it.

The River Tweed, or Tweed Water is a river 97 miles (156 km) long that flows east across the Border region in Scotland and northern England. Tweed cloth derives its name from its association with the River Tweed. The Tweed is one of the great salmon rivers of Britain and the only river in England where an Environment Agency rod licence is not required for angling. The river generates a large income for the local borders region, attracting anglers from all around the world.
The River Tweed flows primarily through the scenic Borders region of Scotland. Eastwards from the settlements on opposing banks of Birgham and Carham it forms the historic boundary between Scotland and England.
It rises in the Lowther Hills at Tweed's Well near to where the Clyde, draining northwest (10 kilometres (6.2 mi) from the Tweed's Well), and the Annan draining south (1.9 kilometres (1.2 mi) from the Tweed's Well) also rise. "Annan, Tweed and Clyde rise oot the ae hillside" is a saying from the Border region. East of Kelso, it becomes a section of the eastern part of the border. Entering England, its lower reaches are in Northumberland, where it enters the North Sea at Berwick-upon-Tweed. [Wikipedia]
There has been a walkway crossing the Thames River at this point since 1845 when Isambard Kingdom Brunel opened his suspension footbridge. Of course today, we call this point the Golden Jubilee Bridge.
Back in Brunel's time, the footbridge connected the South Bank, now the Queen’s Walk, with the 180-year-old Hungerford Market which closed in 1860 to make way for Charing Cross Railway Station on the north side of the bridge.
Using the original brick pile buttresses of Brunel's footbridge the original Hungerford Railway Bridge combine pedestrian and rail use, which the new 2002 Queens Jubilee footbridges continue to do.
The footbridge(s) offer some of the best views in London and remain one of my favourite places to cross the River Thames. On one side of the bridge, there are unparalleled views of The London Eye, Parliament and Big Ben. The other side of the Jubilee Bridge you can clearly see the Southbank, Royal Festival Hall, The National Theatre and St Paul's Cathedral with Waterloo Bridge in the forefront. At night The City of London shines like a beacon on the hill so beautiful and grand.
Especially nice is the way St Paul's Cathedral dome towers over The City of London. New contemporary buildings are going up at a rapid pace in The City, and yes, some are taller than the cathedral; however, these buildings cannot match the size of St Paul's dome. It's remarkable and so beautifully lighted.

Back in the DINK (Double Income, no Kids) days, we usually went to Klamath Falls for Memorial Day weekend. In 1996, we maintained the tradition. On the way home from work Friday afternoon, we saw Southern Pacific makinq up the Los Angeles-bound Swift RoadRailer at Brooklyn Yard in Southeast Portland. The Portland-LA RoadRailer had just entered revenue service a couple of months earlier.
I got up before sunrise in Klamath on Saturday morning, hoping to intercept the RoadRailer somewhere. At the time, I didn't know that you could use SP's car tracing 800 number to find the location of the RoadRailer trailers. My plan was to go to the Oregon/California stateline, listen to the scanner, and see what developed.
As I left Klamath Falls, I saw a northbound BNSF train entering the SP at Bieber Line Junction. Burlington Northern had been merged with Santa Fe the previous September, but the new BNSF had made no blatant operational changes at Klamath Falls. Trains still ran with cabooses, in deference to the hand throw turnouts on Oregon Trunk sidings. Chatter between BN/BNSF crewmembers was often a good source of information. It would prove to be so today.
Not long after I arrived at the stateline, a westbound SP drag came into view. It had four units running elephant style, including a Conrail GE and a Rio Grande tunnel motor. As the train passed, I thought about taking off south and chasing it - until the scanner gave me the traffic report I was waiting for.
The SP dispatcher had advised the BNSF job that he would hold at the east end of Klamath Falls Yard for one train before he could enter the main and head for Bend. When that train arrived at Klamath, here's what I heard on the BNSF road channel:
BNSF Engineer: Wait 'til you see the train they stuck us for. You won't believe it!"
BNSF Conductor: "How so?"
BNSF Engineer: "This poor SP is gettin' so hard up, they can't even afford flatcars for their pig trains!"
About 25 minutes later, the RoadRailer rolled through Worden, climbed the big fill on the mid-60s line change at the Lake Miller dry lake bed, and passed me. It was the start of a great chase that ended late that morning in the Sacramento River Canyon.
In this image, the westbound RoadRailer is approaching the Oregon/California state line. A dozen years earlier, when SP 4449 was enroute to New Orleans, there were at least 100 photographers here.

First of all, sorry for the corny title but it's just that I heard they wanted to raise the toll to a whopping 10 dollars (let's just skip 7, 8, and 9!) and do away with the human toll attendants. I don't even want to know how that is possible or seems like a good idea to anyone. I don't even use those creepy "self checkout" things in Home Depot.
Ah, that's better. Haha. With that out of the way, I just wanted to pay a little respect to the base of this often-photographed tower, seeing as how lately it has been all about the tips.
Thanks for looking!

Hollywood is a city in Broward County, Florida, between Fort Lauderdale and Miami. The average temperature is between 68 and 83 °F (20 and 28 °C). As of July 1, 2017, Hollywood had a population of 153,627. Founded in 1925, the city grew rapidly in the 1950s and 1960s, and is now the twelfth-largest city in Florida. Hollywood is a principal city of the Miami metropolitan area, which was home to an estimated 6,012,331 people at the 2015 census.
Joseph Wesley Young arrived in South Florida in 1920 to create his own “Dream City in Florida.” His vision included the beaches of the Atlantic Ocean stretching westward with man made lakes, infrastructure, roads and the Intracoastal waterway. He wanted to include large parks, schools, churches, and golf courses; these were all industries and activities which were very important to Young's life.[citation needed] After Young spent millions of dollars on the construction of the city, he was elected as the first mayor in 1925. This new town quickly became home to northerners known as snowbirds. These snowbirds flee the north during the winter and then escape the south during the summer to avoid the harsh climates.
By 1960, Hollywood contained more than 2,400 hotel units along with the construction of 12,170 single family homes. Young bought up thousands of acres of land around 1920, and named his new town "Hollywood by the Sea" to distinguish it from his other real estate venture, "Hollywood in the Hills", in New York.
Prospective purchasers of land were enticed by free hotel accommodation and entertainment, and "were driven about the city-to-be on trails blazed through palmetto thickets; so desolate and forlorn were some stretches that many women became hysterical, it is said, and a few fainted. Young had a vision of having lakes, golf courses, a luxury beach hotel (Hollywood Beach Hotel, now Hollywood Beach Resort), country clubs, and a main street, Hollywood Boulevard.
After the 1926 Miami hurricane, Hollywood was severely damaged; local newspapers reported that Hollywood was second only to Miami in losses from the storm. Following Young's death in 1934, the city encountered other destructive hurricanes and the stock market crashed with personal financial misfortunes.
Following the damage inflicted by Hurricane Irma in 2017, an initiative called Rebuild Florida was created by the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO) to provide aid to citizens affected by the natural disaster. The initial focus of Rebuild Florida was its Housing Repair Program, which offered assistance in rebuilding families' homes that were impacted by Hurricane Irma. The program priorities low-income vulnerable residents, such as the disabled, the elderly and those families with children under five.
A 2017 study put the city in thirteenth place for US cities most vulnerable to coastal flooding, with 69,000 residents living within FEMA's coastal floodplain.

Girl Scout Day recognizes and celebrates the Girls Scouts of the USA(GSUSA). This date celebrates the creation of the first Girl Scout group on March 12, 1912. On March 12, 1912 Juliette Gordon Low started the first Girl Scout group in Savannah Georgia with 18 girls. The Girls Scouts became a national organization, and was chartered by the U.S. Congress on March 16, 1950. Today, there are millions of girls involved with Girl Scouts. Americans eagerly await the annual Girls Scout cookie drive. It teaches the girls valuable skills, and generates income to support girl scouting activities. And, you get to munch on a variety of delicious cookies. Most people buy several boxes. I can't stand them, and the girls are relentless.
Happy Girl Scout Day!

Now for the offense....... Some people may not realize that many of my photographs are fantasy. I see photographers as falling into two basic groups. Recorders and Constructivists. I am definitely a constructivist. In this image I have deliberately left my edges less than I should so what I do can be seen. We had no girl scout uniforms. I found a couple of them from the web. I had no cookies. Same solution. My hands were turned the wrong way. Easy cut, rotate and paste. My left hand was all wrong so I just flipped the right one and moved it into place. I had no punch line. So I placed a burning house in the background. A little tone adjustment, a little cloning, a little erasing, a little smudging............ Voilà! Art!
Forgive me flickrites, for I have sinned......... again........
Ever had the urge to blurt out that you are a cross-dresser? I have!
In fact, I have succumbed to this urge a few times and I can say though many were positive with their reaction once it went very badly and I had inadvertently given someone knowledge they proceeded to use against me. It was not the most comfortable of outcomes.
So coming out as a cross-dresser, why tell anyone? I do feel some people need to know, in my case my wife and family. I did not want it to remain a secret in our lives. However, I have come out to others who are not family but I have many tears of trust with them. My mistake was at times I was bursting with an urge to just tell people and quite frankly it was truly reckless frame of mind to be in.
So I made a big mistake with one person and could only stop them using my secret cross-dressing activities being used to cause me trouble in my working life buy having to come out to more people than I really wanted to. It did at least wipe out the hold the person who despised me for being a cross-dresser thought they could have over me. It was an unpleasant time and it upset my family.
So during my last cross-dressing in March I thought I would record a short video on coming out and my own take it on which is be cautious! Of course, this is just my own view and each of us will feel differently about coming out. I know some people are very open and uninhibited. My own situation is I need to stay protective of my family and my job as I need to provide a stable income to support those I love dearly.
My moments of reckless desire to tell the world I love dressing up as a woman need to be contained. I am now very careful who I come out to. Others have come out to me about their own lives and sexuality so I know we have mutual respect and trust with each other.
I would definitely urge caution. Coming out has it’s immediate moment of euphoria and liberation that you have told someone but the long term consequence is they now know something about you that could potentially cause you big problems in your life if they don’t respect the secret you just shared or they decide to use that new knowledge against you.
Resist the urge to tell! Think carefully about who you decide to share this part of your life with.
