The Blue Impulse is the aerobatic demonstration team of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF). The team was founded in 1960
The Blue Impulse began flying the Japanese-built Kawasaki T-4 trainer on 5 April 1996.
The Kawasaki T-4 is a Japanese subsonic intermediate jet trainer aircraft developed and manufactured by the commercial conglomerate Kawasaki Heavy Industries. Its sole operator is the Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF), in part due to historic restrictions on the exporting of military hardware. In addition to its primary training mission, the T-4 has been used by the JASDF's Blue Impulse aerobatic team as well as liaison duties with most fighter units.
In 1997, the team made their first foreign debut at the Nellis Air Force Base air show in Nevada, USA.
I always enjoy the blinding flash in the quiet, dark, night when out shooting distant storms.

This is my last shot for this series/project for a while. Thanks everyone for your support on the previous shot (Clash of the Titans - Bokeh War) from this series.
This Gundam (giant robot) is from the anime Gundam Seed Destiny.
Since I added a song with few of my previous shots, I thought let’s keep the flow. I was listening to a fantastic track by Dream Theater (The Count of Tuscany) while uploading. BTW, it has nothing to do with the anime :)

As one travels further beside the Batura Muztang, the terrain suddenly amaze you. If the time is right, you would be able to see the killer beauty above the village of Gulmit, in Gojal. The culture and the heritage also changes dramatically. Once when the road (KKH) was being used to travel in this part of land, one was not able to see beyond. But as this year a disaster struck holding the Khunjerab river and making up the biggest lake in the world, a traveler is stunned to see the real beauty of the land... The horizon expands and the mountain behind the Gulmit opens up. the play of sunlight sometimes great out of world cavities producing afferent impulses of being outside the world experience.
It is true for the Gulmit people that this was said by someone.
I may come from the land down under, but I’m still standing on top of the world.

For me, photographing waterfalls is an irresistible impulse. Which I find curable only when I head down the trail to the next one. ND-4 filter.

Anyway...
I finished reading Ellen Hopkin's "Impulse" earlier today. It is pretty amazing, lemme tell you. I really liked it. There were a lot of quotes that I loved, but here's my favorite:
"Life is all about change. If it were static, think about how boring it would be. You can't be afraid of it, and you can't worry that you'll mess things up. You deserve good things, and I want to be one of them."
