The lovely town of Dolceacqua, northern Italy, on the border with France. The famous, French impressionist Monet took a trip in Dolceacqua; he was very enchanted with the hamlet and he painted even 4 paintings that depicted the town (www.dolceacqua.it/turismo/images/stories/immagini-fisse/m...)

I wanted to pay homage to the French Impressionist artists of the late 19th century. I know this falls short, yet I enjoyed creating the image.

Our cat Belle died abruptly Saturday, March 26. She was the social director in our family, even though she was a cat. We will miss her.
