Imported flasks are led into the Sellafield site in June 1999, along with escort coach MKII brake 35512.

The lead class 20 is one of the second batch procured by DRS in 1997, and is former Pete Waterman-liveried locomotive 20312, which still has a black roof. This contrasts with second locomotive 20305 which is one of the original batch that has a light blue/grey roof.

Adventureland centers on a sweeping marketplace - and Tropical Imports is right at the hub of shipping and travel, located just adjacent to the Jungle Navigation Company's main dock and office depot.

Utilizing the ruins of an older stucco building, this shop offers the best in goods from the Jungle Cruise's shipping department - mostly fresh fruits and mosquito netting.

-------

Disneyland's Tropical Imports began as a small thatched kiosk along the main thoroughfare of Adventureland, but was expanded into a larger snack stall in the 1990s when the dock and queue of the Jungle Cruise was expanded to the current two-story boathouse. The space has been used over the years for many things - from selling fruit and drinks to stroller parking.

My version lives in the "real" jungle outpost that Adventureland seeks to let tourists explore in the theme park - a land of mystery and discovery.

A pretty non-japanese man observes passers-by from a christmas market stall on the square in front of JR Hakata Station in Fukuoka, Japan. There were also stalls selling beer, mutzen (German donuts), stollen (fruit bread) and glühwein. Why not?!

this is my fabric for Fluffy Sheep Quilting's lovely charm swap here ...

This is a beautiful quality, slightly heavier natural callico-ish cotton ...

My lovely Japanese friend, Tomo, brought it back for me last summer :)

It will now be cut up into 5" charm squares to share around ... Yay!

Chinese steamer 8419 crosses the Des Moines River. The best smoke show they put on was way before the middle, but I'll take what I can get! This steam engine was the last one built in China in 1988, and sent straight over to the US, hence the American and Chinese flags at the front. Even our steam engines come from China....AUGH!!!!!
