El proyecto COSMOPOLIS sitúa esta reflexión sobre el sistema actual de construcción, cuestionando ,evidenciando y visibilizando sus métodos cada vez más alejados del objetivo primordial ,que debería ser la relación natural y espiritual del hombre con su entorno, una arquitectura holística que tiene como objetivo propiciar la armonía, la convivencia y el bienestar del ser humano recordando prácticas de construcción ancestrales que han sido olvidadas para darle prioridad a la explotación del suelo y el lucro por parte de constructoras que anteponen intereses privados por encima de la planeación y el urbanismo de la ciudad.
El título del proyecto hace referencia al término de cosmópolis o ciudad universal formado por dos palabras Cosmos (orden) y polis (ciudad) estos términos dialogan de manera antagónica con Caos (ausencia de delimitación) y son planteados por el proyecto creando un diálogo entorno a la dicotomía entre la arquitectura y el cosmos.

this was such a fun photo to plan out! i never quite realized how much i could do with face painting. :) so many possibilities!
this was very much inspired by the wonderful Megan Wilson! :) her watercolour photos are some of my very favourites, i feel so lucky to have found her & her work and be so inspired by them everyday. <3
