The 29th Meeting of the Parties to the Montreal Protocol (MOP29) and the 11th Conference of the Parties to the Vienna Convention (COP11) were held from 20-24 November 2017 in Montreal, Canada. The purpose of the annual meetings is to advance implementation of the Montreal Protocol. This year's meeting marked the 30th Anniversary of the Montreal Protocol.
Rwanda was represented by Vincent Biruta, Minister of Environment, Juliet Kabera, Director General of Environment and Climate Change at the Ministry of Environment and Shakilla Umutoni, Head of Mission for the Rwandan High Commission to Canada.

Implementing the Hunabku Loop on Tachyon rope. This is for installing rope up NOT FOR LIFE SUPPORT.
The core of the Tachyon (green rope) is taken out about 3 inches. The bottom loop is stuffed inside the Tachyon cover and pinned down with a wrap of 1.75mm ZingIt which is brushed w/super glue.
A loop like this is very useful for installing a cinched SRT pitch when the height of the TIP is greater than half the length of the rope. Once the climber reaches the top of the rope they can convert the same rope to a DRT system for climbing higher.
