While headed to the Porcupine Mountains we drove through the Ottawa National Forest and saw a little sign on the side of the road : "Imp Lake Campground".
We decided to take a detour down a dirt road (path) and ended up at the most glorious campsite in the world (ok, michigan). There was hardly anyone else around.
Unfortunately, we still had many more miles to conquer this day, so we couldn't stay. But it's definitely on the list for next time.
