At Watkins Glen State Park in the Fingerlakes region of New York. One of 19 waterfalls located along the Gorge Trail. The water level was very low. We were able to see the many levels of rock, and the gorge that was shaped by Time.

Manhattan West bound view from Brooklyn Bridge walkway. One of the best free attractions in NYC

On the street I was passin' my time away

To the left and to the right Buildings towering to the sky, it's outta sight…Russ Ballard one of the most prolific Rock & Roll lyricist and composer summed up NYC in a brilliant song...

This beautiful framed view of the Empire State bldg, that has been visible for the past 92 now slowly disappearing from view due to the current out of building frenzy. Soon it will be completely concealed; how sad of a day it will be.

questa foto è rimasta nel hard disk per un sacco di tempo ... è poco definita ... poco nitida e, soprattutto, fortemente ritoccata ...

però oggi ho deciso di postarla perchè ... a me piace ( ! ) e mi ricorda la città che amo di più !

Lo scatto è stato effettuato da Brooklyn ...

un caro abbraccio a tutti.

This picture has remained in the hard disk for a long time ... it is poorly defined ... blurred and, especially, heavily retouched ...

But today I decided to post it because ... I like it ( ! ) and reminds me the city that I love most !

The shot was made by Brooklyn ...

a warm hug to all.

As the night lays down upon the city, one ponders on its ever changing beauty, and it's sadness. 911 Never Forget...

Don't look up, the Vessel Hudson Yards

Somewhere in lower Manhattan

Brooklyn Heights, Waterfront view of Lower Manhattan

... from the Top fo the Rock.

… è così bella, vista da lontano: canyon d’ombra e di luce, scoppi di sole sulle facciate in cristallo, e il crepuscolo rosa che incorona i grattacieli ... (Jack Kerouac).

Midtown madness, that is Manhattan, sad to say this view is no more. The reckless, greed, of developers now mostly foreigners have drastically changed the skyline of NYC. Now icons of the past have been enveloped and hidden from sight. City skyline now reflects city's new personality a dump of greed gentrification

Sunset view from Brooklyn Heights, around this area is where General G. Washington made a brilliant retreat with out the loss of a single man or urgently needed equipment. If not for this move, well be speaking Kings English not Brooklynese.... Thank you G.W

Red sunset caused buy dust storms in the central plain states, and clear visibility.

In the New York grove. Midtown and the Empire bldg lit up Green, white and red, in honor of Christopher Columbus, and Italian heritage in America. Forza Italia 🇮🇹

Montauk Point Light. One of the Oldest light's in North America

Montauk Light, old military sea watch tower, and the moon above. Jun 2017

Montauk Light house. Construction on the lighthouse was authorized by the Second United States Congress, under President George Washington it's the 4th oldest lighthouse in USA and the first built in NYC. Was one of the most important lights, guiding many ships form Europe.

The White house Barn, and it's newly refurbished neon. Will make any President proud, but they don't server ice cream...

Brooklyn anchorage tower of the Manhattan Bridge. To me the prettiest of the four East Rivers crossings.

In the NY groove, I love my town at night. Amazing how much has changed over the years. But to much building up is sadly hiding the classic skyscapers from view..

Autumn at the upper falls @ Fillmore Glen State Park

I spent a wonderful evening with my oldest daughter and generally I try to avoid the crowds that gather in the crossroads of the world, i.e. Times Square but my daughter had to stop at her daytime place of employment which is there in Times Square. Very proud of my dear daughter and while I waited for her I snapped off some frames, always interesting to see how the former Longacre Square evolves, certainly many more displays since my last time there, another skyscraper in the location of a theater, though my daughter tells me the new edifice will include a theater. Obviously, the year on the New York Times tower which hasn’t housed the Times in a very very long time has the year 2022 as the new year was three weeks away. - [x] #developportdev @gothamtomato @developphotonewsletter @omsystem.cameras #excellent_america #omsystem @bheventspace @bhphoto @adorama @tamracphoto @tiffencompany #usaprimeshot #tamractales @kehcamera @mpbcom @nycurbanism @nycprimeshot @nybucketlist @iloveny @timessquarenyc #omd #microfourthirds #micro43

Standing on the corner. Old Corner delicatessen from the days when pastrami was king in Lower Manhattan. Now a Tacoria called La Esquina and not bad at all..

Sunset from Roosevelt Island, western view if East River and Eastern Manhattan. UN, Chrysler bldg and little tip of the Empire State bldg, now being hidden by gaudy highrise buildings surrounding it. Foreground 59th Street Bridge. The Bridge Simon & Garfunkel made famous... any can name the tune ??

Getting in the last colors of fall, North Salem NY

The splendor of the Adirondacks in autumn. Friday was a bit cold but it gradually warmed up for an enjoyable weekend!

Walking the side street of lower Manhattan.

A friendly, classic Irish neighborhood pub located in the heart of Hell's Kitchen. A retreat for the past 70+ yrs.

Alway pleased to see these now rare classic NYC pubs still serving.

Empire State bldg in full view. Sadly these iconic views are slowly fading and becoming more scant as it becomes enveloped by the modern age. Very melancholy that is slowly fading from view
