“This is our pup Bosco's first shower,” says his pet parent. Bosco, a Terrier mix, is 6 months old. “This was the first night we had him after rescuing him from being put down in a high-kill pound. You could see the love in his eyes as we washed off his old life (and pound poop off his face). He showed so much trust, and after a quick wash, his coat was so shiny that everyone asked us what our secret is. Just a lot of love is all.”
Rascal passed away last year, “and there is not a day that goes by that I do not miss him, especially that Beagle howl when I came home from work” says his dog mom, Kathleen. “We could never plant tomato plants anywhere he could go, because he would wait until they turned red and eat them before we had a chance to pick them. The last two years I could not move any of my house or patio furniture around because he went blind. It did not seem to bother him at all – he was a real trooper.”
Peanut, a 7-year-old Chihuahua-Rat Terrier mix, is a Katrina dog. Peanut is “very loving – there’s not a mean bone in this dog,” says his dog mom, Patricia.

Believe it or not, Perry gets bored, too. When he's badtrip or bored, his habit is to huff. Sometimes loud enough for us to hear it.
