What her pet parents love most about 7-year-old Lucia, a salt-and-pepper Schnauzer, is that “she does not forget anyone she loves.” When they tell Lucia their son and daughter-in-law are coming to visit, “she understands exactly what we are saying. She goes nuts – her ears turn in and perk up, and her eyes open big. She also knows the road to the pet store. We only go occasionally because it is not close to our house, but all we have to do is drive in that direction and she goes crazy-in-the-car happy!"
Hachi is a 2-year-old Pomeranian. “Hachi can tell you a lot when it comes to his eyes’ expressions,” says his dog dad, Jess. “He can tell you when he wants to play, eat or just wants to cuddle. Hachi is a very active pup and just loves to play.”
Dexi, aka Dexi Leu Sunshine Bowden, is a 9-month-old Miniature Schnauzer. "While I think she is perfect, she occasionally doesn't listen, as the picture demonstrates," says her dog mom, Jamie. "Dexi is just like her name – a ray of sunshine. She is happy, loving and precious … definitely a winner in my book."
