Betsy, a rescued Shiba Inu, was the inspiration for a cartoon blog (http://www.shibal-inu.blogspot.com/) started by her dog mom, Gina, which has helped raise funds for the rescue.
Two-year-old Sophie, a purebred Lab, was given to her dog dad, Paul, just days after his other dog had died. “She is very good, gets along great with other dogs and has an annoying (sometimes) habit of leaning on you and pawing at you when she wants something (usually food),” Paul said. "Here she is making a 'goofy face.'"
