Eats, Shoots and Leaves. A funny book about punctuation and grammar! Whaat?
I know this book has been out for a while now, but it's one I've been wanting (and NEEDING) to read and just never got around to. Since I have been on Flickr, I have become very aware of my mis-use and abuse of punctuation, grammar, exclamation points, emoticons, etc.
So hopefully, this book will help me! ;-) (See what I mean?)
The book really IS funny - I love the wry British wit of the author, Lynne Truss. She makes learning about punctuation fun!
The cool coffee mug is new, too. I saw one by this artist on Texas To Mexico's photostream www.flickr.com/photos/7930204@N04/2288010112/ and just had to have one - or two. I found them online and ordered two different designs - I really like the bright colors!

this is what the world drinks . . .
Snowed again last night, just a little bit but there's supposed to be more today and tomorrow. Turned really cold again. And I've got the flu and starting to feel pretty grumpy. Been sitting here all night trying to get caught up with everyone... if I've missed visiting any of you, and I'm sure I have, will get back ASAP. Right now I'm going to bed. Hope all of you have a nice rest of the weekend. And don't forget to change your clocks...

Update: How ironic, sitting here going through some of my older photos on New Year's Eve 2010 and... ta-dah... I've got the flu again. Yuk.
Took this product shot today for the shirt that the lovely Aled aka. fatheed sent to me - then realised cause it was a gift I can't submit a product shot... durrr.
Anyway. It'll do for a 365 instead.
At my house, the coffee is never not on. My day starts off, usually at 1:30 - 2:30 PM, (yes, I said PM) by brewing a quadruple shot latte. And then there is my own blend of regular coffee and decaf (black please, no sugar) throughout the rest of my day and night.
The mugs, however, are considerably larger than shown here... this little decorative cup is only two inches tall. Wouldn't even hold one good swallow, lol.
This is for some very special Flickr friends, with whom I would love to be able to sit and sip from a bottomless cup. No need to name names, you know who you are.
