"filled with mingled cream and amber
i will drain that glass again.
such hilarious visions clamber
through the chambers of my brain -- quaintest thoughts -- queerest fancies
come to life and fade away;
who cares how time advances?
i am drinking ale today.”

Beer makes you feel the way you ought to feel without beer.
Henry Archibald Hertzberg Lawson (17 June 1867 – 2 September 1922) was an Australian writer and bush poet. I have never read his works but maybe I should.
I love beer.
This has been done a gazillion times before by people much better than me, but this is my feeble stab at bright field lighting. I'm not entirely happy with the results, but I know of at least one person that will appreciate the subject matter, despite the shortcomings. As always, CC is welcome.
Strobe fired at 1/4 power through soft box directly behind beer, and from beneath through glass table. White foam core tent placed over beer to act as reflector. In post processing, shadow line between soft box and glass table removed by clone stamp.

Exposure time: 50 minutes

Benjamin Franklin famously said 'Beer is proof that god loves us and wants us to be happy'. I don't consider myself a religious person per say but I like to think if their is such a higher being that they too love beer. I like to consider myself a beer geek. I can't get enough of it. I drink it, brew it, read about it. I am a sucker for all things beer, plain and simple.
This 50 minute exposure was taken at the newly opened Pine Box Bar in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Seattle. It has quickly become my favorite beer-centric bar in the city, added no doubt by its close proximity to my apartment. I plan on doing a dedicated Pinhole'd Breweries and Pubs write up on it in the future. I enjoyed two pints and the company of my wife (not pictured) during the long exposure, placing the beers as close to the same spot on the coaster as possible in an attempt to capture the 'life cycle' of the beer.
every Friday, after I get off I try all the new beers on tap since I last worked. our new Chocolate Pale Ale was my fave tonight. 🍺✨😋 @ocbeer #mmmbeer

I was at 2 cabins out in Ontario, Canada this past weekend. One was at Clear Water Bay and the other was Fox Lake.. It was a good long weekend. Hope everyone else had a good weekend!
A refreshing glass of beer
I've shot this type of pic before but I clipped the highlights on the head and they were completely unrecoverable. This time I was a bit more careful...

In some of my songs i have casually mentioned
The fact that i like to drink beer
This little song is more to the point
Roll out the barrel and lend me your ears
(Chorus:)
I like beer. it makes me a jolly good fellow
I like beer. it helps me unwind and sometimes it makes me feel mellow (makes him feel mellow)
Whiskey's too rough, champagne costs too much, vodka puts my mouth in gear
This little refrain should help me explain as a matter of fact i like beer
(he likes beer)
My wife often frowns when we're out on the town
And i'm wearing a suit and a tie
She's sipping vermouth and she thinks i'm uncouth
When i yell as the waiter goes by
(Chorus)
Last night i dreamed that i passed from the scene
And i went to a place so sublime
Aw, the water was clear and tasted like beer
Then they turned it all into wine
I like beer. it makes me a jolly good fellow
I like beer. it helps me unwind and sometimes it makes me feel mellow (makes him feel mellow)
Whiskey's too rough, champagne costs too much, and vodka puts my mouth in gear
Aw, this little refrain should help me explain as a matter of fact i love beer
(yes, he likes beer)
It has been a long week. I hate do another beer shot, but this idea occurred to me when I did my shot the other day. This one is dedicated to you. Without people such as yourself looking at my shots they are just artistic masturbation.
