I found two old roll films in a shoe box with photos. The box moved more than five times with me and was last in the basement. Now I have developed one of the films, an Ilford HP5.

After a leisurely drive north we captured 46229 " Duchess of Hamilton" as she slowed for a photo stop at Dent Station. The original plan was to phot the Duchess passing the box but when we arrived several people were in the shot so I plumped to stand on the box and took this image. At the time we did not know that a stop was planned at Dent so was a bit fortunate to get some nice black stuff rolling out of her chimney.

I made three copies of this picture and toned them in different ways.
They all turned out crap except maybe this one...
Toned it in selenium for 2 minutes and then in gold but I didn't think much happened, so I put it back in the selenium again, then it went quickly, had to pull it out after a few seconds when I saw what was happening. But the result might not have been that crazy.
The paper-white frame turned yellow-brown though, have to figure out how to get the white frame white again , if possible.
