Yet again I took the day off because I'm sick. I was just getting over my cold when I was hit with this nasty cough. I feel like I have coughed my brains and half a lung out. Pray for me - this is not the week for me to be sick. I have two concerts to shoot Thursday and Friday.

Woke up feeling crappy, figured I just hadn't slept well.

By the time I've just now arrived home from work, it hurts to swallow, my head is pounding, and I'm pissed because it couldn't come at a more inopportune time.

My boss is in Alaska...and I cannot leave my staff alone on a Friday, which we all know is a banking nightmare, even though countless times over the past 5 years someone has done it to me.

*sigh*

I suppose I'm just not cruel like that. My unused sick hours tick on.....

So tomorrow is gonna suck royal balls.

Random Fact de jour: My shirt reads: Don't Worry; I forgot your name too.

I no longer wear it after my husband told me he hates it because it implies that I slept with someone and don't remember their name.

I am now paranoid he might not be the only one to get that impression from an otherwise innocent statement.

I'm still sick. Today i feel even crappier than yesterday. It was one of the longest work days ever! The bath helped a little.

I haven't been sick in over two years. No headcolds, sore throats, fever, flu, strep.....none of it.

But tonight after my basketball league my nose wouldn't stop running. So...I tried to OD by drinking OJ, taking some Zicam and eating a Clementine (no...not that Clem).

Went home from work early Thursday feeling the brunt of my cold. Not looking good for Halloween plans. Originally for FGR's Theme day of masks and home appliances. Forgot the mask. (does sinus pain from a cold count as an invisible one?) :)

Recap: Shorty after finding my muse and enjoyment for photography again I got sick and lost patience for photoshop.

A week full of headaches, sinus pain, nausea, ear aches, and a big case of lethargicism (new word) resulting in numerous hours spent watching mindless tv and time off work.

Took Halloween off from work and spent last few days watching cult spooky movies, sports and other things I can't remember due to a cold induced stupor.

I promise more pleasing photos and mood once this cold is finished.

Now blogged too!

Ok as you can see by the current date and this date, they are way off. Thats because when I was down sick that week I got far behind on uploading my self portraits. I am so badly trying to catch up on then right now. It is 11:30 and I want to get these ones I just uploaded current with discriptions before I go to bed.

I had a fever that day of like 100.4. Yeah that sounds like a radio station to me. So this is all I took for that day. I felt so crappy. I am better now. :-D

Why can't it fix my headache?

I'm posting late. Lame I know. I have good reasons and the next photo helps explain too. Shorty after finding my muse and enjoyment for photography again I got sick and lost patience for photoshop.

Duct tape really can fix nearly anything but sadly didn't fix my headache. Lots of i.b. profin and cold meds do help though.

Can anyone tell me how to avoid the really nasty crunchiness you get when you resize things in photoshop or you know, how flickr does when you upload? Even just point me at some resources if you know of any.

The only thing worse than having the flu is when your kids also have the flu at the same time. Being sick at home with the kids is not my idea of a fun Labor Day weekend... :-(

I snapped this shot from my backyard the other day just because the clouds looked interesting... I'm itching to get back to shooting sunrise/sunset... things have been a little too busy lately...

Well, the day started out okay. I had written down the new schoolwork for the week and even started doing the reading assignments.

But then..it wouldn't stop raining today. Since I don't have a license, I had to walk in a misty type of rain to the store today. Well, it seems to have worked on me real quickly and not in a good way. I am feeling weak, achy, stuffed nose..just want to go to bed. Ugh..I hope that this goes away quick. :P

Alright. So, i can't find my cord to upload any new pictures, and im stuck being out sick until next monday. so i'm uploading this picture of Karlie. (and of course spending all day watching tlc. ^.^) argh. i hate being sick.

im still sick. >.< god, i hate iot too. im coughing like, every 4 seconds. its killing me. i wish i had some one to talk to. all my friends are either at school or at work. i like how the one flower in the middle is super bright. argh. im bored out of my mind. and i dont feel like getting up to turn on the tv. (since the remote is on the other couch, and im all drugged up) my fingers feel all funny as im typing this, like their made out of noodles or something, so maybe it's best if i don't get up. anyways, im either going to photoshop some more pictures, or ill pass out here on the coiuch again.

BTW...my goal for this shot was to get the puddle in focus, bottle out of focus and the reflection in the puddle. After fiddling with it a bit, I couldn't get all three. Once I got the puddle in focus, the bottle was too close for the aperature I was using, but when I moved it back I couldn't get the logo in the reflection....oh well, that's just about how this week is going to go I'm afraid...LOL! :)

i've been full-on sick with bronchitis since last friday and something tells me that going out in the snow to take pictures has something to do with that. so i'm holding out for warmer weather, if that even exists anymore.
