Koi or more specifically Nishikigoi, literally "brocaded carp"), are colored varieties of the Amur carp (Cyprinus rubrofuscus) that are kept for decorative purposes in outdoor Koi ponds or water gardens. In Japan, the Koi is a symbol of luck, prosperity, and good fortune, and also of perseverance in the face of adversity.

La cathédrale Saint-Front est une cathédrale catholique romaine, siège du diocèse de Périgueux et Sarlat.
Située dans le centre-ville de Périgueux, elle est classée monument historique depuis 1840 et au Patrimoine mondial en 1998,
au titre des chemins de Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle en France.
Mangonneaux and trebuchets. Some live size mangonneaux and trebuchets that used to swing large and heavy objects. Some of the very few to be found in this region with many castles.

Château de Castelnaud-la-Chapelle - a 13th century fortress overlooking the Dordogne River in Périgord, erected to face its rival, the Château de Beynac. The lords of Coumont, owners of Chateau Castelnaud-la-Chapelle used to live at Château-des-Milandes constructed in 1489. Today a popular picturesquely restored castle, a monument historique, and includes a museum of medieval warfare with reconstructions of life size siege engines, mangonneaux, and trebuchets.
