Perspective and story. Two key elements of an image. I recently led a Photowalk at the public library in downtown Seattle. I've been to this space a dozen times as a photogorapher and look for something new, each time.
The building is one of the more unique in the city, with awesome lines and colours. As well plenty of space to work and access to computers.
On the 9th floor you have views that go all the way to the first floor, which can mess with you a bit if you don't care for heights.
As we were exploring that floor, I looked over the edge and saw individuals at work. Placing my phone along the railing you see part of the railing as it leads down... Leading your eyes towards the main subject.
When you're exploring the world, your city or neighbourhood, always seek out new perspectives.

During lunch I decided to take the 1020 for a spin with some abandonment. Ran into a great abandoned dairy farm in Skagit County right next to an abandoned but heavily secured mental hospital. Next stop, mental hospital.
