Diving Club is one of 200+ Co-Curricular activities at Jerudong International School Brunei. They have to undergo training first in swimming pools with hired instructors until they are qualified to go in open water in one of Brunei's diving sites.

73 students of Year 5 from Jerudong International School (JIS) Brunei recently travelled to the Borneo Tropical Rainforest Resort in Miri, Sarawak, for a two night residential experience. They participated keenly in a variety of outdoor educational and team building activities. The trip is planned to give children the opportunity to face personal challenges as well as encouraging them to participate in a number of fun games designed to improve their ability to work with others The children enjoyed a flying fox, the obstacle course, a low ropes course, abseiling and a climbing wall.

As JIS now has 1700 students from 55 nationalities, being an international community with a Bruneian heart, International Day is an amazing opportunity to encourage students to develop as a global community and celebrate each other’s nationalities, cultures, customs and languages.
