IGCSE Art

This is the final outcome of my IGCSE art exam – a landscape woodcut print inspired by the amazing printmaker Angie Lewin. I did this with three layers: the background layer, the solid color block layer, and the black outline layer. I carved the background and the foreground, and did stencil for the middle color layer. I took pictures of flowers and plants that I bought to create the composition. I think the outcome looks pretty good, though I’m a little dissatisfied with the little black marks. Woodcut printing is a lot of fun!
