View from Revere Hotel in downtown Boston. I went to an Instagram photography meetup for the first time and it was quite impressive. The group @igboston put together what was basically a one day conference, with talks and panels and then socializing with food and drinks. It was fun to meet people into photography in my new city, and I was very impressed with the event and the organizers.
Did you know you can do long exposures on an iPhone? This was shot on my iPhone 6s using a mini tripod and the Slow Shutter Cam app, and then I processed it in Lightroom Mobile and Snapseed to bring out those colors. What an amazing view from Lovejoy Wharf! I can't thank them enough for hosting the wonderful event last night, and the IGBoston team for organizing it. Had a spectacular time and was so special to see their amazing rooftop, model unit, and one of a kind view of the Zakim bridge.

Shot with Sony a6000 and 35mm lens, picturing iPhone 6s using the app Slow Shutter Cam to capture light trails. Not sponsored but personally highly recommended smartphone photography accessories you can see here: @phoneloops wrist strap that goes with nearly any case, and @jobyinc gorillapod tripod gripping a railing to hold up my phone - I almost never carry around a full size tripod when these are so lightweight and work with my camera and my phone.
