Flying over a lovely field of wildflowers, the colors really standout in this image.

Just over the beach from the glacial lagoon, we walked to the diamond beach where icebergs wash up on shore. . Join me for more here: www.instagram.com/pg_landscapes/

Slow posting from me lately. Last week, I finally finished a video editing project at work, which took me approximately 1.5 years. Perhaps now I can again focus on the stuff I really care. Here's one of the highlights of my last trip.

During my 10 day trip to Iceland over the last half of July, I had to return to one of my favorite sites for a unique human element image. So I drove up to Vik the over to this seaside section a little further north where I camped out a couple of nights to ensure I'd capture a few nice sunset and a sunrise image and this human element image.

In 2020 I'll be returning to Iceland again over the end of June but this time I'll be there for at least 3 weeks.

In 2020 I will be conducting 3 workshops in the US and one in Northern Scotland. For the one in Scotland, I will be collaborating with one of Scotland's finest landscape photographers and yes we'll be taking our attendees to the Isle of Skye which is a must shoot site.

During all US workshops, I will take my group out at night for Milky Way night sky photography.

Here is a list of my 2020 photography workshops

1. Arches National Park - Feb. 28 - March 2

2. Grand Teton National Park early spring - June 11-15

3. Arches National Park - September 20-23

4. Northern Scotland: October 19-23

All workshops include Photoshop & Lightroom Milky Way post processing sessions covering latest Milky Way processing technique with image stacking.

Info on the Scotland workshop will be available after I return from northern Scotland on October 23, 2019.

More detailed info on the mid-June 2020 workshop in Jackson Hole, Wyoming may be found here:

For the longest time, I wanted to take a crack at visiting this gorgeous canyon (pun intended). And surely, it did not disappoint! The frequent rains those days also made sure the waterfalls were at their finest.

I wouldn't dare to venture into glacier ice caves such as this one without my trusty lantern. I mean with what else is there to light up my path? 🏮😜

On a more serious note, if you ever have a chance to visit sapphire ice caves such as this one - go! The beauty will numb your mind. Special gratitude for @localguide (on IG) for making this possible again.

Seljalandsfoss is a famous waterfall in southern Iceland, standing 60 meters (197 feet) tall. Its unique feature is a trail that allows visitors to walk behind the waterfall, offering a stunning view from inside a natural cave. The waterfall is part of the Seljalands River, fed by meltwater from the Eyjafjallajökull glacier.

Located near Iceland's Ring Road, Seljalandsfoss is easily accessible and a popular stop for tourists. Its scenery changes with the seasons, from lush green in summer to icy formations in winter, making it a must-see destination year-round.

When we were in Iceland we saw this majestic and massive waterfall at Seljalandfoss. Too many amazing things in Iceland...

Reynisfjara hides near the Icelandic town of Vik. It's long, dark and rabidly wild. In fact, it is one of the most dangerous beaches in Iceland, as the official Visit Iceland Tourism website warns visitors.
