New beach Petten. This beach was man-made 6 years ago. Bicycle tour Aug. 15. Dit strand bij Petten is 6 jaar geleden opgespoten met zand uit de Noordzee en ligt voor de Hondsbossche Zeewering. De oude dijk is grotendeels aan het zicht onttrokken door een duinenrij met daarvoor een strand. Al port de Hoorn tenen aquest petit far de fusta que s'anomena Havenlicht i va ser construït el 1642, a l'anar a l'àrea d'autocaravanes d'aquest poble sabia que tenia aquest far al costat, així que en arribar que ja començava l'hora daurada vaig anar directe cap allà a veure què podia fer. Tot i no tenir núvols al cel, va agafar un color molt interessant i com a la vora no tenia res, vaig mirar de fer una foto una mica minimalista, vaig haver de posar diversos filtres per allargar el temps d'exposició i mirar d'aconseguir el màxim reflex possible, ja que la mica de vent amb les onades no deixava veure un reflex clar.

Esonstad is een vakantiepark van Landal GreenParks aan het Lauwersmeer bij Oostmahorn, dat in de gemeente Dongeradeel in de Nederlandse provincie Friesland ligt.
Esonstad bestaat uit een bungalowpark rond een kunstmatig meer en een quasi-historisch stadje, dat tussen 2004 en 2007 werd gebouwd. De naam is ontleend aan een nederzetting met de naam Ezonstad, die in de vroege middeleeuwen op ongeveer dezelfde plaats zou hebben gelegen en die Friesland tegen de Noormannen moest beschermen. Het bestaan van deze nederzetting is echter nooit aangetoond.
Tot het complex behoren verder een zwembad, een speeltuin, een kinderclub en horecagelegenheden. Vanuit Esonstad wordt een veerdienst naar Schiermonnikoog onderhouden. Deze is uitbesteed aan Wagenborg Passagierdiensten en wordt uitgevoerd met de MS Esonborg.

Still life "In Grandpa's barn" - to me this photo symbolises life at Goeree-Overflakkee. The pure simplicity, the somewhat sober colours, the close-knit community on an island. It also shows how close the older generation are to nature and basic life. It's maybe that what makes the people at Goeree-Overflakkee special, you just have to learn to see where the real beauty lies.

I found this on the table in Grandpa's shed, artfully viewed you see the classical painting style such as the still lifes of the "Hollandsche Meesters". It was irresistible to photograph this one quickly, to see how close I could get to a "Dutch Master" still life in Grandpa's barn.
