Antiguamente llamada Barcelona-Término, es una de las estaciones de ferrocarril de Adif de Barcelona, es la segunda después de Sants en cuanto a tráfico de media y larga distancia. De ella parten casi todas las líneas regionales de Catalunya y algunos servicios de largo recorrido.
