Skaters and fishermen head for the barn as the sun sets on another day. Thanks for looking and have a great day!
With the temperature in the 90s this week, I found it comforting to remember the cold days of last winter. Here in winter, mallard ducks hang around all winter, the days are shorter, and people enjoy ice fishing on Wisconsin's largest lake.

Winter has arrived and I'm laying on the ice in the middle of a frozen pond, attempting to catch a fish through a hole. My buddy Sammy proudly held a fish in his mouth, waiting for my next catch and with each successful pull, his enthusiasm grew, and soon, he developed a taste for the thrill of victory. In our icy escapade, I realized we weren't just fishing for fish; we were capturing joy and winter memories together.
