Did you ever know that you’re my hero
And everything I would like to be?
I can fly higher than an eagle
For you are the wind beneath my wings
I came across beautiful white birch on a frozen damp plain.
In the night sky, Mars and Orion shined like a jewel.
The lens is TS-E17mm F4L.
It is a very interesting lens.
I changed the perspective of the white birch by a shift lens.
I used the yellow LED.
color with the warmth appears. (^_^)
Little people, big world
Ice dancing
Ice dance differs from pairs skating in focusing on intricate footwork performed in close dance holds, in time with the music. Ice dance lifts must not go above the shoulder.
Swan! Swan! Swan!
And when the swan came, strangely graceful,
proudly displayed its white golden vision of its breast
Swan! Swan! Swan!
Later, in the distance at the edge of the frozen pond,
I can still see the young swan standing

Icing is no ice
There is icing on this typical Dutch pastry, but that dos not mean you can skate on it. These figure skaters had a hard time finishing their short program.
We're here visiting I love cake
500 km on a motorway is a piece of cake in most of Europe.
Up here in the north you do some icedancing with your car for hours while you traverse a road with snow and ice - really a bit of stress. Check out a photo from today - out of the car window. (Just for the record this is the colour version......)
Anyway in the afternoon, after 7,5 hrs. at the road I could check in at my hotel in Trondheim - the most central city up here in mid Norway. Position N 63.4327 E 10.4001.
The blue hour photo from the river Nidelven that runs through this fine old town: Trondheim.
Next - going with the coast steamer ( Hurtigruten) for 3 nights - more at www.johanson.info

My first shot for 52 weeks for dogs 2010. A beautiful but bitterly cold day in the forest - it's rare that we get ice as solid as this in our area. Taivas ventured happily on to the ice to retrieve her treats. It's an ordinary shot but I do like the reflections of the blue sky and Taivas in the ice.
Btw - the ice here is above a bog which is shallow - Taivas was quite safe. I would never endanger her just to get a photo.
This mystical music video was inspired by a wonderful novel about a boy growing up in the Canadian wilderness - I wrote a song after reading the bood "The Northern Lights" by Howard Norman almost 40 years ago. I finally was able to do a beautiul music production with wonderful instrumentation by my producer Stephen Geering. Enjoy the magic the dancing the night star show and if you are inspired go read the book or watch more of my video of original songs here on flckr
