After camping in the Red Desert we drove thru Farson, WY and stopped at the Farson Mercantile - home of the big cone. We used to stop there when my boys were little and I forgot how big the big cones are! Well my son is also bigger - having grown into the big cone. Regardless neither of us could finish it!
cupcakes baked in ice cream cones and frosted with giant swirls of
buttercream with sprinkles and sugary, sour cherry balls on top.
perfect for rotting one's teeth.

This week's theme of the Smile on Saturday group is "Ice Cream". I had to go and buy some ice cream as I didn't have any at home. Even when it's hot I don't eat ice cream very often but bears would probably not say "no, thank you" if they had the chance to get their paws on something delicious, sweet and refreshing. Maggie and Tim, the miniature bears, certainly didn't. HSoS ! :)

Smile on Saturday theme: Ice cream.
A two scooper of dairy free Chocolate and Cookies 'n Cream ice cream in a homemade waffle cone - always, always in a waffle cone! 🍦 One scoop is usually enough for me as the Lickity Split Ice Cream Parlour is very generous with their portions. Today I couldn't decide on just Chocolate or Cookies 'n Cream and since I am a piggy at heart, I chose one of each and I have zero regrets! It really was not as big as it looked! 😋
I had to go dairy free several years ago and I was heartbroken that I had to give up milk and cheese, most of all pizza and ice cream. These days many ice cream companies have come up with some really good dairy alternatives that taste just as good as the real deal.

Playing with some ideas I have. I imagine what I want to shoot but don't always have a way to set it up the way I envision it. More to come as I experiment and work through some more ideas.
I have had a blank photo journal for years but I finally wrote in it on Saturday! Now this may not sound like a big deal but I've never wanted to write my ideas down because I felt that they were silly and not worthy. Someone mentioned in a comment that my image was art and it stopped me in my tracks. I had not considered my images to be art because that would make me an ARTIST! Artist is a title that I have never associated with myself before yet it helped me to see my ideas and creativity in a new light. Thank you for helping to reshape the way I envision what I am doing and making me see that it is not irrelevant but has some worth.
