I am the Course Director of the Design for Visual Communication (DVC) course. This gallery of work is by my students past and present. The only exception is this piece by myself for Icebreaker/Philip Glass. This composition draws on a simple visual language (colour, form, structure, rhythm) with simple integrated typography (one typeface, one weight and one size). The design is based on the musical structure of the piece. There are 76 musical ideas represented by 76 vertical divisions. There are 8 groups of musicians playing randomly across the 76 ideas represented by 8 horizontal bands. I can be contacted at t.pritchard@lcc.arts.ac.uk
